Why am I tired you ask????  Simon and Miss Roxy were throwing toys around the bedroom last night and having a ball, then J. P. got in on the action so I tried to lock them out of the bedroom Naughty Didn't work, all three of them took turns standing on their back legs and pawing at the door Laughing  hypnotic

Morning!  Boy, do I know what you mean, Sharon!   Our resident "stinker," Drake, does the same only he sticks a paw under the door and jiggles it, hoping it's not latched, I guess.  But it makes a racket!  We have to shut them in the basement at night now.  Not happy doing it but it's his own fault!  ROFLMAO

Did you guys see this?  It's wonderful!

Hi, Ladies,

Talk about a lazy day - I had (another) one yesterday (although I didn't really do anything exciting on NY Eve to warrant it). I just watched TV and played with Cristien all day (except for cooking meals, of course).  I was so lazy I didn't even get on to wish everyone a terrifice New Year - although I thought about you all many times.

I hope you all had a wonderful time and that this New Year is the beginning of better things to come for our world, for our Countries, for those we love, for Clay, for Maniacs in general, the RTMers in particular and for each of us individually. There really is a lot of room for upward movement after this past year. that's for sure.

It's funny that everyone is talking about Heidi and Ho - I was just thinking about them myself and wondering if we are going to get an update on their adventures soon - ladies?

Am wondering why Clay hasn't blogged his holiday wishes to us - doesn't he love us anymore?  Oh, well, we still have each other.

Off to work. Have a wonderful day!

Luv,

B

Hi Kim, Beth and Brenda! Santa wave
Was hoping Clay's galpal and guypal would keep him on track with his blogs!  I'll bet we hear from him within the week.  This is his last weekend with Spamalot, then he'll have more time for us.

Hi Everybody  Santa wave

We (The kids and I) just returned from doing some errands.  I had to make a return at Wal*Mart.  Ugh! What a nightmare.  That place was a zoo.  Well, I learned that I need to teach Nathan some etiquette. Oy! His Aunt (Dave's sister) gave him a Christmas present that he did not ask for.  I was so embarrassed.  He said to her, "That's not what I asked for!" I told him today that he should have said, "Thank you!" and tell me later that he didn't like it.  He said that he was only being truthful.  He said that had he have told her that he did like it, when in fact he didn't, that that is lieing.  Which is not a very Christian thing to do! I told him that him making her feel bad, was not very Christian either.  Kids!

Santa wave   Have to use that while it's still here, right? It's so cute.

Just caught up reading; should have made notes or something.

Ann, your new year wishes were perfect! I am going back to copy that post for safe-keeping.

Karen, had to laugh at your thoughts about us leaving our decorations up until April. Last night, as Jim and I were enjoying a fire, we both said they were not coming down for awhile because they just cozy up our little place so much. Yup, our MSU did okay without winning. We sure cheered hard for Penn State, too.

Sharon, do you ever stop going and going and going??? Your fabric panel sounds interesting. Sometime over the past few days I watched a show on HGTV where people were looking for a house in the Kitchener area. Can't remember all the neighborhoods they showed, but it made me feel close to you to see where you run around. Seriously run around, that is!!!  bigsmile

Still waiting to hear from Heidi and Ho, too. But, c'mon, they are having way too much fun.

ChrisieSanta wave  It's fun to see you here; good to know you haven't forgotten us. We sure haven't forgotten you.

Wish we'd hear from AnitaHuggles

I have been loafing all day. Fixed a turkey with all the trimmings yesterday so today is leftovers.  bigsmile Jim has been working outside on the snow all day, and they could finally fill our propane tank. YEA!!! The snowmobilers and ice fisherman have arrived on the lake. We have actually missed having them around but they couldn't get to the lake before now. Received two phone calls today from our friends who live in Florida over the winter. They all get together once a month down there, so I got to hear how everyone is doing. It's fun to hear from them.

debi, where are you? We haven't seen Christmas photos yet. Christmas isn't over until we see Aisalynn, and now Alina.  Huggles

Kim, Beth, Brenda, Marilyn, Meesa, Barbara, Shirley, Jeanne, Carolyn, and anyone I missed who hasn't posted this year yet, HAPPY NEW YEAR yet again.  Santa wave

Hi, Beth. Your conversation with Nathan was interesting. Saying "thank you" isn't lying. He didn't have to tell her he liked it. Madisen and I were looking for clothes to wear to the MSU women's basketball game this past Monday. While going through her closet, we came upon the wonderful, exciting, perfect jeans we bought her for Christmas. I asked her why she hadn't worn them yet and she said, "You got them for me, didn't you?" I said yes, and she said, "Well, I haven't worn them yet, but I will someday."  ROFLMAO  I told her I could take them back and get something different, but she would't let me. Want to bet they get passed on to Riley?

BETH, Nathan sure is honest.  He is not old enough to know how to get around those things I guess.  I like  your avie!!!!!  I would change mine if I knew how.  Clandy always did it for me and now she is gone!!!  I am trying to get hubby to paint his bedroom and it is a major battle here!!!!!!!!!

KIM, I am afraid I never make excuses for Clay.  We the fans help him make big bucks!!!  I can't believe he did not have the courtesy to tell his fans who spent money to join his fan club, a Merry Christmas or a Happy New  Year.  How long does that take, two seconds?  He might be tired of all his fans but he will be sorry if he looses more.

BECKY, sounds like you are getting a little rest!  How is your mom doing?  We were without power for three days there so glad  your power stayed on.  Looks like more bad weather coming Saturday night.

DEBI, sure hope everything is alright.  Doesn't seem right that you are not here posting pictures of the little ones at Christmas Day.

Shirley...I totally agree with you.  I've said from the beginning that I don't think Clay really cares whether he has a singing career or not.  His actions of late kinda support that, I think.  I believe he does a tour only because that makes him a bunch of money for a year and then he can do whatever he wants--or doesn't want, including ignoring his fans.  I sorta lost interest in him some time ago...mostly when he kept denying his "gayness."  I thought that was stupid, truthfully, and only caused him (and his fans) more grief.  (got my catchers mitt out to catch all the rotten tomatoes...lol)

*sigh*  Anyway, I can understand his wanting to spend Parker's first Christmas with him at home (no tour), but there is absolutely NO excuse for him not getting on his fan site and sending all his fans a "token" Christmas greeting.

Anyway....how's everyone????  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration, and even if there's no Clay doings this year, let's all get together somewhere!

Hi everyone = My son and I just got back from taking Bozena to the airport and I miss her already.

We spent new year's eve at the Mountaineer casino. I never laughed so much. I told Bozena I had to go to the rest room and she said "OK - I'll sit here and play this machine". Now it was one of those 2 cent machine with lots of reels. Now when I came out of the rest room, Bozena is sitting there and all the bells and whistles are going off.
She had me laughing so hard because she said the first spin, she just hit the 1 (which meant she played one line for two cents - then she did that again ) and then she must have realized something was wrong so she hits the "max" button. We still can't figure out what combination and reels made her win, but she won $420.30.
The next morning, she played a nickle machine and won another $114.00. Now , my son said - "I think I'll go try a 2 cent machine. Well, he won $500.00. Actually he won close to $600.00 but played it down to $500.00 .

I'm sure you can all guess who lost. Laughing Laughing

We had a great week, did lots of talking , eating and just enjoying each other. We had a wonderful time at mountaineer and came home tired but happy.

OK - everyone - I've lots to do, but I'll talk to all of you later.

Hi all Santa wave
Home from a fun afternoon with the girls Clapping we left Stratford earlier than planned, as a nasty blizzard rolled in , and trust me you don't want to be on that highway in a blizzard No!
Got mom some half price Christmas cards for next Christmas, got a nice round area rug for the living room, very reasonable, but I don't know if it's big enough yet may have to use it in the rec room, which would be fine.
We had thin crust pizza and a couple glasses of wine in a trendy little bistro, gosh I love that town, it's so happening, funky, trendy, and friendly all at the same time Clapping

Filling Every Empty Space With Clay

« Reply #1918 on: January 02, 2009, 05:21:33 PM »

Hi  Santa wave

After work, I went to Subway for a sandwich . . . . but now I'm going to the store.  Cupboards are bare!   Paranoid

We are experiencing a big change in our family.  My daughter-in-law announced on Dec. 14th that she was no longer happy being married and wanted a divorce.  SO, Christmas had a cloud over it this year.  Trying to act normal for my grandson, Derek, and trying to help Tim figure out where to live, etc.  Tim moved into an apartment today and will finish moving tomorrow.  We  have a list of what he needs to get . . . . . like a shower curtain, waste basket, table lamp . . . etc., etc., etc.!  New phone number, address, etc.

My daughter, Nancy, has been very helpful with the transition.  Our main concern is Derek.  It is so important that he knows that both sides of his family love him very much!  He just turned 8 years old on Wednesday.   Huggles

Thanks for listening!  Sorry that I have been mentally "absent" for the past few weeks.  I'm making lasagna and garlic bread for my son-in-law, nephews and Tim (the moving crew) so that they will have a hot meal after they are done moving Tim's stuff.  See . . . . somehow FOOD makes everything better!  blush
