I haven't said anything to the parents yet.  Wink My sister and BIL as well as my cousins know. I'll tell them. Wes and I just decided not to say anything to most people for a bit. I know my family is happy for me already.

Hi  Santa wave

Dang winter snow storm! 

We couldn't drive to Green Bay tonight  . . . . so instead of going to a supper club with friends, I nuked a hot dog in the microwave.  I did make a salad to go with it.

Tomorrow, Derek will be 8 years old.  I'm wrapping his presents now.  It is hard to have a birthday so close to Christmas.  He loves books and games.  He is so handy building things with Legos.  He also loves anything "electronic". 

Right now, I am baking some Magic Cookie bars to take to a New Years Eve Benefit tomorrow night.  I won't be attending, but I want to do something to help because all of the proceeds will go to the Hospital Foundation so that our little hospital can expand services.  Everything is more difficult because of the economy.   Paranoid

Anybody got special plans for New Year's Eve???

Good night everybody

 off to bed Clay dreaming

Sharon, Tomorrow during the day, I will be cleaning.  Dave is probably working from home tomorrow.  When I was watching the news today, it was said to have a shovel in your car and your windshield wiper fluid full for tomorrow's commute.  We're supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow.  It's already freezing rain outside right now.   

Tomorrow night, probably staying home and doing nothing.  Shari's (SIL) coming over on Thursday.  She hasn't seen my new countertops or the new kitten.  She and I are exchanging Christmas presents, and then she also bought gifts for the kids.  Shari and I bought each other the same  pair of earrings  Laughing.  Her sister from GA sent her a present too, and it was also the same exact pair of earrings.  She had no idea.  How funny is that!?!  Laughing

Butter pecan coffee, peppermint tea and hot chocolate are all ready.  I went to Cinnabon and got us all a treat this morning they are warm and BIG~~~you can lick the icing off your fingers too bigsmile

SHARON, good morning!!! Oh my favorite breakfast.  When I lived in Farmington they had a Cinnabon in a strip mall by my house and I was there every weekend morning waiting for them to take them out of the oven.  They were my favorite cinnamon rolls and you are right they are BIG.  Than for some reason they closed the bakery.  I haven't had one since.  Seems like all the good things are closing down. 

BETH, go get your paint before Dave gets out of the mood to paint!!!  I am anxious to see pictures of the finished kitchen.
