    Thea,
My prayers will be with you tomorrow and I hope will give you comfort through
the procedure and give you good news from the results.

Your dresses sound lovely, lots of brides seem to be going for black for their
attendants. Glad your son is happy and hope your other son passes his exams.

                                              Hugs,

BETTY, thank you.  You always have the right words to say.   Huggles

Thank you, FRANKIE.  I'm so hoping this is just another false alarm.  What is worrying me is that the lesions are in an entirely different are from where I had my incision.  That means it's less likely that this is scar tissue.  We'll just have to wait and see, though.  Wednesday afternoon will be my day of reckoning, I guess.    Wink

Oh BTW, my mother went to the orthopedic surgeon today and he took more x-rays.  She has a hairline fracture in her hip that apparently he hadn't noticed before the surgery.  He told her "just to take it easy".     So at least for the time being she won't be having another surgery like your father had.  I really appreciate your having shared your own experience with me.

GLORY, feel better.

As to losing posts, I haven't lost anymore posts lately than I have in the past.  But I do tend to simply break up my longer posts into smaller post.   BETTY, I think you have the right idea with your "single-topic" posting!!!!  Laughing  My feeling is that since Claymanaics  is a free, volunteer-run website we probably will have to just put up with these small annoyances indefinitely.

Anybody watching the Democratic convention this evening?  Not me.  I'm already tired of Presidential election politics.  It's going to be a long campaign season, for sure.

    Marlene,
I"m so glad Roger has been able to eat some food and been able to take a little walk. I hope he is able to continue improving. It must be a big relief to you.

FRANKIE,
I"m glad you were able to get away from the construction for a while,I"m
        sure you needed it.
Does Gumbo like Rice now and is he able to play with Jack?
The posts sure are getting flighty, they shoot off at the strangest times.
Shirl. called me today, I think she thought I might have been eaten by
an alligator. We are still getting lots of rain.
For some reason I am feeling very good about Clay, I think things will
work out well for him. Don"t know why I feel this way, I just do!!!

                                         Good Night,

Gwenn, Thea, Glory, Jen, Marlene - You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  Gwenn, you're right, this has been some summer! I feel for all of the Clay fans with everything they're going thru. In the last 4 years we've had four deaths, 3 major surgeries, moved twice and every month, on the verge of losing our home, but God is good!  Hold on everybody, remember you are all loved.
I sing this song all the time -

Liife is Hard

You turn the key, then close the door behind you, drop your bags on the floor
you reach for the light, but there's darkness deep inside
and you can't take it any more.
You know, some times the living, takes the life out of you
but sometimes the living, it's all you can do.
Life is hard, the world is cold
We're barely young...and then we're old
but every falling tear is always understood...life is hard but God is good
you start to cry, cause you've been strong for so long
but that's not how you feel, you try to pray but there's nothing left to say
so you just quietly kneel
in the silence of all that you face...God will give you His mercy and Grace
Jesus never said it was an easy road to travel
He only said that you would never be alone, when your last thread of hope begins to unravel...don't give up, He walks beside you on this journey home.  and He knows...
Life is hard, the world is cold, we're barely young and then we're old
but every falling tear is always understood...life is hard but GOD IS GOOD
Bless you all with peace and comfort.  Jen- with sweet sleep

 wave wave wave

Had dinner with our pastor, then we came home and hubby got things ready and he is on the road.

I haven't felt well all day.  Not sure...right now I feel tummy-queezy and really, really beat.  But I wanted to come on and say  wave to all of you!!!  Then I'm going to curl up with a book and hopefully sleep well tonight.  Also, I wanted to see the DWTS list.

I'm s*rry I just don't feel good enough to stay up and chat, but I did read all your posts.

Prayers for Thea, her Mom, Roger, Glory and anyone else that needs them.

Betty - You'll be happy to know my ironing is done.   Wink  Thanks for the LD news!!!

I hope to feel up to spending more time with you tomorrow.

Good Evening!

A late post for me.

Special prayers for Thea as she undergoes another procedure, Thea's mom that something can be done about the hairline hip fracture, Marlene's Roger as he continues to improve, Glory that the chiropractor helps her feel better, and Carol recovering from her fall.

Skip will have a colostomy on Thursday morning to check out polyps in his colon.  Tomorrow he starts a liquid/jello diet for two days!! shock  I remember when I did this, I was starving by the second evening!

I would appreciate prayers for Skip that he gets a good report after the colostomy on Thursday.

Hello to everyone checking in or lurking.  Have a good night.

Prissy - Is it a colostomy or a colonoscopy? I hope all goes well.

Glory - I think Condoleezza Rice would make an awesome president. Very well educated and she has so much political and foreign affairs knowledge and experience!

TheaHuggles I'll be praying for you!

Off to bed.

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS!!!

wave  Charlene, late night Carol, Glory, Prissy, Meesa, and all Claymaniacs!!!

Still not getting up early enough.     I set my alarm on radio, but LOUD, and I still slept another hour.   Naughty   BUT, I slept very well and am drinking my cranberry juice.   Yes!  Of course, my cat is on my lap, so it makes it very hard to type.   Laughing

Plans at work changed, and we have more testing of third and 4th graders to do, so I won't start actuallly any lessons until Friday.

Prissy - Prayers for Skip's procedure.  I heard it used to be a very uncomfortable procedure but they have made it much better. I hope it's an easy one for him and the results are all good.   Huggles

wave and  Huggles to all!!!   I've read your posts and hope all that weren't feeling well yesterday are much better today.  And I see we now have a dancing cat!!!  Clapping

Hope you all have a GREAT PINK Tuesday!!!

Meesa,

This is the colon test where a camera goes into the colon and I believe the doctor will scrape off some of the polyps to have them tested.

Carol,
I really think one day of liquids should be enough, but our doctor wants two!   Paranoid

Thanks Carol and Woody and Meesa.

Thanks in advance for all the prayers.
