Oh I guess that's just a photoshop job then...the REAL cover will be out tomorrow.
I hope they change it a bit.
Keep the pic but maybe soften that headline right next to lil Parker's cute wittle baby face.

As a member of Claymaniacs and specifically the RTM, I hope that we all remember that not every fan will feel the same about this news. May we be supportive of Clay and of each other.
Thank you
Barbara
I waffle in how I feel about this news, love the voice, love the humanitarian, just haven't felt the same about my fandom for awhile, this lends a whole new spin

A spokeswoman for People would neither confirm nor deny that Aiken told the magazine he is gay. But the magazine issued a statement saying, "We can confirm that Clay Aiken and his son appear on the next cover of People
Well...I know the cover released by Perez is doctored...so we will see what People got.

SHARON - Actually I am quite selfish.
I want to continue to enjoy Clay on CD, in concert, or on Broadway.
I especially want to have the RTM to come home to at the end of every day! The people who dwell here have become my friends. We have been through many good times and difficult times TOGETHER!
Clay Aiken is the same guy he was before the "news" broke . . . IMHO, there isn't an entertainer out there who has more talent, wit or compassion than Clay! He also has some amazing fans.

Ok...I'm gonna say mah piece now!
I don't care if he is or isn't.
I was gonna break up with him anyway.
But IF he is planning to "come out"...I just WISH he'd do that by himself...and not "bring Parker with him". What I mean is...just an interview and solo pic of Clay.
Parker should be introduced in a better way than that...IMO. Like sweet "family" pics...with Clay & Jaymes gazing at him all lovingly & stuff. So that when Parker is older...he'll have THOSE pics in the mag to cherish.
That's my only beef.

Wow, I took a few minutes to sneak into this sight from work and about fainted at the news.
I could care less that he is gay and my feelings for him hasn't changed. I just feel stupid for all the times I had defended him and arguing with people about the fact that he said way back when that he wasn't gay. I think ALOT of people will leave the " fandom " and that is there choice. Some may feel like they have been lied to as well... kinda like me. But this topic is a real struggle for anyone and a hard decision to make to tell b/c of society. So I am proud of him that he is finally being true to himself and the world. Like Kim, I just wish it didn't take Parker to do it

I am mad because now I am going to hear it at work. You can't believe how many times I have defended him to others. I would say "He said he wasn't gay a long time ago. Why can't you just believe him?"
I am definitely going to hear about this constantly. I am not thrilled that he is gay. At all. What I am upset about, however, is that I do feel like he lied to us.
I am still his fan and will support his CDs and concerts, but the primary reason I will stay here is because of all of you. You are my sisters.

- It says October 4 because the dates of the mag are always a week ahead, but as far as 2004 .... a misprint?
Good morning everyone!

Morning
I can't talk about Clay right now. Just can't.
Maybe later.
I'm going to take a break from the computer today to get my bookwork done; I've been way to distracted lately!
See ya's tomorrow!

Karen
, I dont know what to say either, feeling very sad I think, maybe it's just everything, I'm grieving another man now too in a way.
Don't even feel like breakfast, but I put on a cup of coffee for anyone who wants one
Carolyn
, I've also been here for the wonderful friends I've made, can't imagine my world without all of you
