Frankie has volunteered to host our cellcert call for tonight.  Thanks Frankie (and hubby Lewis!)

Spoilers....

just talked to Glowgirl.. her and her Mom arrived this morning.. they were there outside when the buses pulled up.. Jessie was in the front window..he got off then the girls then Clay and Jerome. said Clay looked beautiful..wore the bucket hat..had on a yarn type sweater red green and black I think she said..he was 10 feet from them.. later I think she said Jerome walked Durham and his little mouth was barking up a storm

We actually saw he and Jerome walking out of his hotel to the bus (we're staying at the same place), which then drove to the church and we assume dropped them off there. We did see Mary sitting out front of the church, but didn't see Clay. We went to supper and on our way back to the hotel a couple hours later, noticed that the bus was still parked at the church's main entrance, so wonder if they might have attended evening services, as well as rehearsing some. Wearing bucket hat and horizontal, inch-wide-striped, primary-colored shirt I haven't seen before (very tight-fitting), faded blue jeans & sneaks. What little we saw looked very good! It was great to see him, if only a glimpse! He was slim, but in a very good way *g*.

We were waiting on Frankie and Lewis so we could go out to eat together and I saw the bus. We were parked and PuddinsJoy was looking at her camera. I looked over and saw Jerome walking to the bus. Then Jerome stepped ahead and I saw him. I screamed!  (At least we were in the car with the windows up!) PuddinsJoy started smacking me in the head to get me to be quiet. I put my hand over my mouth and continued to scream.  He was wearing jeans, a long sleeved striped shirt (big stripes in primary colors) and his bucket hat. I didn't get a pic, because it went so quickly!

I hope everyone is excited about the first stop on the new tour!

I'll be bringing over reports from CV and also interjecting anything I hear on the cellstream.

From CV:

OK everybody, I just talked with Clayperfect. They are in the venue and the mood is very, very tense. I don't know how many of you are aware that there was a "fan" banned last week from the OFC for posting threats towards Clay. Well, she was at the pre-party today and is planning to attend this Wichita concert. Clayperfect said security is extremely tight and they are showing everyone a picture of this person as they enter the venue. She said they were also told they would not allow cameras or videos of any kind. She said security is EVERYWHERE. I'm a bundle of nerves now.

The orchestra is warming up and the church is filling up!

No word yet on who will be reading stories. No new updates on the threats, but everything seems to be going ok.

About 700 tickets are left.  They are mostly on the sides of the venue.

3/4 of the audience is women, 1/4 is men.

Heather -  I intend to enjoy this concert.  I'm glad that Security is tight . . . I am in disbelief that anyone could go to those extremes . .  I knew nothing of the threats.

BUT -  It is the first night of Christmas in the Heartland!

Did they do a bag search when people entered? Or can you not do that at a church?

Do we have to use any codes other than the access code...I forgot about how we proceed after that...  also read that there will be no banter...Clay said the stories will be enough...read that over at the CB or the CH

I just heard Meesa on the cellstream for CV- she said that their preparty was a success and they had over 80 people. The orchestra is playing a little but the lights are up still and Clay hasnt showed up yet!

From what I've heard they did check bags and security has been very thorough.  I think even at a church it would be treated like any other event.
