I only knew Janet for a short time…and I’m thankful for that. People outside of our community may never understand how feel for each other, but in all honestly, the pain that I feel for Janet is real. I was hoping that she would return to us but at the same time I am happy that she suffers no longer. Janet, have a safe travel to your new home, someday we shall meet again.

Woody - I certainly hope that Bill will let Sara know about the funeral arrangements (I don't know whether to call Janet's daughter Anne or not - I know this is a difficult time for them - I will think about that and may call in the morning). If someone else is going to call, please let me know! I told Pamela last weekend that Janet was not expected to live, and I checked to see if there was money in the flower fund (there is). I still do not know if Bill will allow Sara to give us his address, but I do have Anne's address if anyone needs it (I know many of you already have it).

Shannon - Of course we accept you for who you are.     We all know who you are.  And you have been a friend here for so long.  I'm glad the insurance paid the whole bill.   

And it doesn't matter how long you have been here, we all care for each other here, and are lucky to have a family feeling.

Hey all. Summery time.

Thanks Frankie and Sara for letting us know that Janet passed away. I hope she went peacefully. It's really sad we losed another member of our family but I'm glad that she doesn't have to suffer and hurt anymore. I'm really going to miss her and loved her so much. What a special person she was.

My prayers are with Janet's family. I'm glad she got to be with them before she died so she wasn't alone.

Thanks Woody for the new session. Fitting it can be in memory of Janet.

That's a great 1st post from Janet. Thanks for posting her last post too. Can't believe it's been 2 months since she last posted. She was passionate with her opinions about Clay. She really did love Clay with all her heart and he was her happiness.

Good morning Happy.  Yes, rainy weather--violent thunder/lightening.

The transformer at the corner of our yard was struck by lightening two days ago and took out our phone lines...wow, I don't think anyone missed me, but hey, that's life.  I'm not here much anymore anyhow.  Well, I came home sick from work yesterday and the phone guy showed up.  The strike had fried the filter to the phone line of our computer.  Thank the Lord the surge protector stopped it from frying the computer!  Lesson learned, unplug computer before leaving the house, power cord and phone line.

Let's see, I've missed Linda's bday...I hope it was a good one for you sweetie!

Glory, good luck on quitting smoking.  I quit for 2.5 years, but when I lost my job last year, I started again  I'll stop again once my job life is in order....I hope!

Last, but not least...

Our dear Janet...the most devoted fan of OMC that ever was.  She cared so much for him and his good deeds and that's something I'll never forget.   It made me happy to send her DVD's and CD's.  I have a feeling she never saw Soft and Hard that I sent her, since her health failed her so quickly.  God Bless you Janet and to your loved ones, I hope they feel the comfort knowing you're now in the best of hands and walking with our other beloved departed other Maniacs.

Nice to see you here in the mornings.   Thanks!  I'm hanging in there with my allergies.. It seems like it's a tough year for lots of people around here..  I did so well being on my nasal steroids for years but my eye doctor told me to go off of it to save my vision.

I am so saddend by Janet's passing.  She brought sunshine and her love for Clay was a wonderful inspiration.  She will be so missed.  She will always be in our hearts!
