Ok, so not quite a Pop Star...

Almost everyone dreams of being a star at some point in their life, but how does one go about actually becoming one? With all the technology available to the "average" person Rhordri Marsden wanted to find out if he could record, release and promote a single in just one month. Read how he went about doing just that in this article from the DailyMail in the UK:

HOW THE INTERNET CAN MAKE YOU A POP STAR...

It is quite an interesting read, detailing how one goes about getting a song heard and a video seen. It involves lots of friends, many favors, and surprisingly little money.

He's got the single up at iTunes and you can watch his video at youtube:

THOSE RULES YOU MADE

The song is actually pretty catchy! I just bought it  Smile Very reminiscent of those great 80's tunes.

His "band" website is:

It has a nice blog that picks up where the news article leaves off.

“We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over. So in a series of kindnesses there is, at last, one which makes the heart run over.” James Boswell
