The fires in California are horrific! I can't seem to pull myself away from the TV and computer news. It's like a train wreck......ya don't want to look but can't pull yourself away. My heart goes out to those poor people.

I know we haven't heard much about/from Clay for a little while. I hope he's getting a chance to rest, relax, and have some fun since he completed his tour and before he starts on his Christmas tour. Is it too soon for him to be in rehearsals for that? Do you think he's been to a few extra Spamalot performances just to get some insight about his part?
Bye for now everyone.

BUT I AM STILL NOT WELL AND I AM HEADED BACK TO BED. WE DIDN'T GET TO BROWSE AROUND LIKE WE USUALLY DO BECAUSE I WAS JUST TOO POOPED. LITERALLY AND .......TMI.
CLAY CONTENT---I AM SURE HE IS FINE. I AM NOT GONNA WORRY ABOUT HIM. WELL, NOT ABOUT THIS STUFF.

Update on Clay in NYC from the Clayboard - Clay was indeed in NYC at Radio City last week, as we reported on Saturday -
Girls just had to pop in and tell you I got a call tonight from my neighbor Lynn. Her daughter just called her and told her to call me. She works in the Christmas Show in Radio City as an elf. (she is a little person) Well tonight they were at a studio doing something for the show and at the same time as her CLAY WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said they got to meet him. I'm so jealous of her but she know's I love Him so it was great she called to let me know. It was 8:30 p.m. our time and they we're all getting ready to leave. I'm guessing he was working on his new CD. SO OUR MAN IS IN NEW YORK

P.S.
JOHANNA, I hope you are remaining safe from the CA wildfires. Younger son Peter says the inner city of LA, where he lives (in the ghetto
) says he is safe. We've been begging him to fly home until these wildfires are brought under control, but he refuses...
Thank you
Thea
for thinking of me...
...I've been so fortunate out here in the San Gabriel Valley....we have escaped the horrific winds/fires...so far...thank goodness...and my heart goes out to all who have had to endure this ordeal.
Clay is just too cute the teacher!!...I got off my doofus...and wrote out two stories...I'm not sure either qualifies as the next Velveteen Rabbit...however, in the event he should pick one, I'd like one us...Claymaniacs - all to read it
....any volunteers attending the Michigan, Waukegan, Merrillvile (I'll never spell that one right....
) Wichita concerts interested?? ...then I'll go ahead and submit my stories to the most convenient venue....
and with that my pet phrase...Hope Springs Eternal...I know, I know...I can hear you all saying it...can that gal find a new inspiration... yeah...I've got it...Clay!! just one word takes care of it...hee

Egads- I dont know what possessed me- I sort of accidentally submitted a story.......twice!!
And I am sort of composing another in my mind. My first Christmas in the U S of A!!
I loved the teacher in Clay-but he is right. That email was supposed to be for stories only- its amazing how much people respond to his blogs telling him all about them. Now they do it by email
I wonder if I could truly stand up and tell my story? It is supposed to be humorous- and is less than 500 words. Took me about a minute and a half to read out loud. No chance of me holding up the works or the flow of the concert.
I must be out of my mind.
ON a more personal note- I usually drink a bottle of water or a snapple on the way to work- I am always thirsty. Today I got a diet green tea snapple- pretty good really. So I pulled off the plastic, drank a bit- and added ice cubes to it to keep it cold. Put the lid back on and went on my merry commute to work. I was about half way there and all the way to the bottom of the bottle- took a big gulp and swallow, and something caught in my throat- it felt like GLASS and it was way down my esophagus. Coughed, cleared my throat, coughed, panicked........I was in the fast lane at seventy miles an hour and now way to change lanes. After a few minutes, I finally coughed up a piece of the plastic that sealed the cap- it was over an inch long and BOY did it hurt. All the rest of the way to work I felt like it was still there, and when I went to drink water it hurt like a sonofagun. I must have cut my throat a bit on the inside!
Do you believe such a freaky thing could happen? Oh, thats right- its me!!!!
So a week from Monday I will be in Vegas- my very first time. Have to take lots of batteries!! ............for the camera. And I get to see a sexycutesingerman for a little while. Hope he is feeling good! Too bad the Sedaka tribute won't be televised- wonder if there will be clack!! I had forgotten that it was this Friday night!
The LI Clayfans who meet for dinner once a month are going to get together to watch AYSTAFG at one of the houses- should be lots of fun to drool together! Well, you know what I mean.
I have to go do the news and get some sleep. I dozed off in my chair for a bit today.
to all- I miss you like, LOTS!!!

Neil Sedaka also plays in Vegas the day AFTER Clay is there. Nov 6 Clay...Nov 7th Neil.
MAYBE you will see Clay attending THAT show.....if you are heading there for Clay and ice skating.
Same casino...The Orleans.
Wish we could have waited 2 weeks to go.
I took 2 placemats from the buffet at The Orleans...for a keepsake. Has Clays name but advertises with a photo for Neils...
That's it..gotta run!
Hope all is as well as you can be.

MARILYN---ONLY YOU, SWEETIE.
I DON'T THINK THIS STOMACH THING IS EVER GOING. BEYOND ANNOYING.
I BET CLAY SEES NEIL IN VEGAS. WISH I WERE SEEING CLAY IN VEGAS,
WE HAVE TO RELY ON CLACK AND FIRST HAND REPORTS. WHEN IT IS ON TV, THE FOCUS WILL BE ON SKATING AND NOT CLAY. HIS VOICE, BUT NOT THE MAN. I KNOW SOME EXPERT CLACK GATHERERS ARE GOING.

Neil Sedaka is on the last hour of the Today Show (now!) He just mentioned Clay!
If you are near a TV, turn on NBC! Neil will be back later in the show - 30 minutes of the show left.
