“American Idol” alumnus Clay Aiken comes to Fort Myers Aug. 16 — along with a 42-piece orchestra.

Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall announced the show this morning. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $43 to $72. Tickets will be available by going to the box office, calling 481-4849 or going to bbmannpah.com..

Aiken was a runner-up on Fox TV's second “American Idol” competition in 2003. Since then, he’s released three albums and several hit singles, including "This Is the Night."
