A flyer was distributed to concertgoers announcing a contest to win "Clay Aiken Tickets" for his show in Wichita on Nov 26!

They announced more details after I talked to Pamela.

Location : Central Christian Church
                29th Street North & Rock Rd.
Date : November 26th
Tickets go on sale : September 28

Hello!

I just ordered 2 tickets online for this Concert.  I was not offered the Gold Circle which is the first 10 or 15 rows.  We are on the Main Floor, but will be behind the Gold Circle.  I did talk to a man on the phone and he said my tickets were probably excellent since I had ordered early.

Looking forward to Christmas Clay!!

I got tickets, too!  Purple Banana I did get Gold Circle, but the lady I spoke to had no idea what that meant! She did say they should be good tickets, though - her words were "front and center" - I hope she is right! This is the second time I have bought Clay tickets without having the slightest idea where they are located - back in 2005 I bought a table for the Atlanta Juke Box Tour concert - they turned out to be good tickets - hoping these will be good ones, too - only for Clay!!!!!!

I tried to post a link to hotels with 5 miles of the Wichita venue (the Church), but the link would not copy. You can go to HotelsandDeals.com and search by location - the address of the Church is 2900 N. Rock Road, Wicihta, KS 67226. This will give you all hotels with 5 miles of the venue. I thought a Holiday Inn Express just one half mile from the Church sounded perfect, but when I went directly to the hotel site and read the reviews they were not good. To be fair, most of the reviews were written in 2004-2005. I'm wondering if the hotel has improved since then!

Meesa - that hotel is on the list - only one mile from the Church - posted room rate is about $40 higher than Holiday Inn, but I did not check room rate with membership - I joined just in case. Will make a room decision a little later - still lots of time. I do like to stay close to the venue.

I jut made reservations.

We are coming in a day early - Sunday - looks like there is lots to do - Botanical Gardens, Zoo, etc. Meesa - If you need help with the preparty, or donations for it, just let me know!

EDIT - Tickets just got here!  Clapping Clapping Clapping Section 2 (Center Section), row J  Clapping

SECOND EDIT - I googled a Map from the hotel to the Church - Travel time - 2 minutes  bigsmile

Section 4, Row F, Seats 4 and 5.  I think I am in a side section (looking at a picture and map of the church) and in the sixth row.  Not sure! scratch
