We finally set a solid time for the call!

DEBI - I brought LOTS of extra olives with me!!!  I wish I could be there with you all in MI so I could meet you all!!!  I am just loving hearing everyone's excitement though!!  You will just have to say hello to Clay for me and let him know I will see him in Cary!!!   Actually...maybe you shouldn't tell him.....I think I scared him when he called me

I had a friend over tonight.  We went to Pizza Hut with her and two of her kids.  She is the one who is an abusive marriage and she is trying to figure a way out. She is an absolutely wonderful woman. This is her second marriage and she is scared to divorce him because she has no rights over his children and she doesn't want them to get stuck with him.  One is an adopted child who has already been in the "system" and she doesn't want her to end up back there.  The children's mother is an alcoholic so she definitely doesn't want to see them with her.  Bad things have happened in the past. They are supposed to have a "family meeting" tonight and I begged her to have it in a public place, not in the home.  I don't want to see her on the news.  Oh, he has also put her into such extreme debt she is terrified she may lose her home.

It puts my problems in perspective.

This old lady is heading off to bed, too. Have to get up early tomorrow to go to our local Amish auction and flea market. Darn. 

Before I go, this is not as cute as Aisalynn's photo, but here is the back of Madisen's head. What? Remember, she snuck away and cut her own hair a couple of weeks ago.

CAROLYN - How awful for your friend.  Having the kids to consider will make this a very rough decision for her.  I pray the family meeting will go well.  I pray her husband will get some help and his children and your friend will be safe.  I'm sure your friend is very thankful for you.  A situation like this sure does put things into perspective.

Starstruck - Clay's dressing room? I'm ready!  Willson is doing okay. Stephanie is short and I guess he takes after her! He is small, so I guess those clothes I bought him will fit. They are keeping him longer since he was premature and small. This is the same cousin that went to the Daughtry concert with me a week ago.

Becky...those are adorable pictures...don't say they are not as cute as the aisalynn pictures....I love the back shot of madison...you know me I like pictures that are different....they are both beautiful!!!!!!

Thanks, everyone.  Actually, I should have clarified.  She is the second friend I have had over this week who is an abusive marriage.  It makes me appreciate my husband even more!

We should get together, Debi. 

When my family left on the cruise, I had the feeling something big would happen that I would want to share with them.  I think the layoff qualifies.  I am okay, though.  Better than I thought I would be.  Prayers and fellowship really help.  I am looking forward to my family's return, however!
