I DONT KNOW IF THIS SURVEY IS FINISHED OR NOT, SO VOTE IF YOU WANT TO!!

eta: numbers are going up, so keep voting!!

Does anyone ever feel this way?  Sometimes I think that it might be better for Clay if we didn't go nuts with the voting (the excessive voting).  I mean, maybe he'd be taken more serious (and the "Claymates" wouldn't have the reputation as "crazed" or "over the top) if he finished 2nd or 3rd in these votings every once in a while.   When Clay wins every single poll known to man, I don't think he's taken as serious.  What do you think?

An Idol murder mystery
I just realized that headline may be a bit misleading, not to mention alarming. I'm talking about a novel, a work of fiction closely based on American Idol, what it's mandatory in the book biz to call a roman a clef (quicker and more exclusionary than just saying "fiction based on slightly disguised fact" or something).

Fans of Clay Aiken will not be thrilled by the portrayal of Terry Taylor. "He was a geeky kid who resembled the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. Then he opened his mouth and this gloriously sweet tenor poured out ... Even after his dramatic serial makeovers, Terry still looked like a neglected stuffed doll at a yard sale. But he had this soft-spoken Southern manner and freakishly long eyelashes that women -- especially older women -- seemed to respond to ... Critics were calling him the next Barry Manilow, like that was a good thing." Terry later displays an amusing Jekyll-and-Hyde personality switch that ends up crushing the morale of the current crop of singers.

I did not see any report here last night about LK CNN . He interviewed Fantasia and Taylor hicks and in the background showed clips of Clay singing from his concert JBT the one wearing white jacket and blue shirt and then clips from Invisible video. It was great although they've been shown before. Am I the only one who saw it?. I don't know if I am biased to Clay but he is more eloquent than those two. Although I kind of liked Fantasia too.

From the CB, Clay rises another slot to #9 on the Lycos Top 50. Apparently, it isn't just us.
