I love" Excuse me while I take a moment" by Jimock. For a long time I can't stop laughing. I wish it had gone on forever. What a gifted writer. Can't waste talent like that. She should write comedy for screen starring Clay and whoever, well Britney!.. send it to Clay's agent.   Smile

"A Thousand Days" has been recieving airplay in 2 radio stations here in Singapore. One station P98 has a nightly countdown base on request and voting, and "A Thousand Days" was #1 for more than 2 weeks and next 2 weeks was between #1 and #6.

It debut at #29 on P98 weekly top 30 count-down, moving up to #27 and today made the highest jump to #12.

Clay In American Idol Magazine - Four Mentions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know if this has been posted before. I had to take my son for a haircut today and while waiting for him, I picked up a copy of American Idol Magazine from the rack to occupy my time. It is the one with Katharine McPhee on the cover. It did not have a date on the front, so I don't know when it came out but I'm assuming within the past few months?

Anyway, there were at least four Clay mentions in the magazine.

They had one page showing "other" career paths some of the idols have taken - from being on Broadway, being in a reality show, etc. Under the heading of "Authors," was Clay - along with Diana and Fantasia.

They had a survey and one of the questions was, "Who is your favorite runner-up?" - listing the five runners-up.

They asked who should be the next idol to be on the cover of the magazine.

The best mention of all - they had a two-page article showing recent CD releases. On the first page, they showed Clay and Ruben. On the left-hand side of the page, they showed the photo of Clay (in the black and white vest, holding his hat,) and the cover of ATDW. They did a very nice, positive review of the CD. Probably the best I've seen - saying there are two types of songwriters who are lining up to work with Clay - new songwriters who want to have their work heard by someone with a great voice and people who want someone who is very capable of doing covers. They went on to praise his delivery on the covers, that "Everything I Do" - how instead of doing a raspy version that would emulate Bryan
Adams, Clay delivered it in a lower register and added the Celtic touch. His treatment of "Because You Loved Me." They said this is a GREAT CD. I know there was more but I can't remember it verbatim. They basically said, you need to get this CD.

American Idol’ may want you to believe it’s best known for bringing talent into the mainstream like Kelly Clarkson or Clay Aiken, but what fans have always enjoyed are the opening weeks of misguided and tonally impaired denizens of the world making a fool of themselves. Executive Producer Ken Warwick echoed this sentiment in a statement, ”People like the bad singers. It’s more the bad singers that will bring in the ratings.”
