The gift: A CD/movie ticket "gift basket" featuring the latest and greatest from "American Idol" contestants, including Tuesday night's performer in DeVos Performance Hall, Clay Aiken. (See story on D2)

Why they'll love it: Aiken's latest, "A Thousand Different Ways," and Chris Daughtry's new release, "Daughtry," might give your loved ones whiplash from the divergent styles, but hey, it's representative of the Idols they love. Don't forget movie tickets for "Dreamgirls," opening Christmas Day, starring Jennifer Hudson, who many still think was ripped off royally when she was booted quickly a couple of seasons ago. Early buzz suggests she steals the show from Beyonce and company.

The price tag: $52 ($18 for the CDs and $8 a pop for movie tickets.)

Pair it with: A Motorola V276 (from $79), with enough bells and whistles for your Claymaniac to tune in nightly to his "cellcerts," a phenomenon among devotees in which attendees at live concerts broadcast his shows to those sitting at home. Aiken has a trademark application pending for the term "cellcert."

Turns out Aiken taped the song after the episode where he put his hand over Ripa's mouth and she took it off, saying she didn't know where his hand might've been.
