Hi long-time lurker!!  Please post more, we love hearing from all our members.

Here you go:

WHERE TO BUY

SoundScan is the company that tracks CD sales for the music industry and the SoundScan numbers are the ones used by Billboard to create their official music industry charts.

So it is very very very important to only purchase ATDW from a retail store or online website that is known to report their sales to SoundScan.

The following is a list of the major retail stores and websites that do report their sales to SoundScan:

If the retail store reports to Soundscan, then their online website does also.

Amazon.com
Walmart
KMart
Target
Best Buy
Circuit City
Borders
Barnes & Noble
Sam Goody's
FYE
Tower Records
Virgin Records
Fred Meyers (Mayers?) never can remember which
most independent (non-chain) music stores (ask !!!!)
Walgreens (but no other drug store chains !!!!)

The following do NOT report to SoundScan:

Grocery stores
drug stores (except Walgreens)
Hallmark stores
Discount wholesalers - BJs, Sams, Costco
Christian book/music stores

Thank you for listing the stores, Deanna!

I noticed in the ads for Best Buy and Circuit City that there's a limit of 3 per customer.  Their prices are comparable to Amazon's.  I'm going to try and find my way to Best Buy since my Amazon shipment will probably not arrive until early next week.

Since I'm on dial-up I could not listen to the songs in their entirety at the Clear Channel site so I can hardly wait until tomorrow -- I'll get to watch Clay on Good Morning America and listen to his CD!!!
