I am SO excited Purple Banana This will be an AWESOME concert. Planning on going out to eat somewhere and spending the night. Hopefully we won't have trouble with either one. Coming from the Chicago area. Glad to see Clay is finally coming closer to Chicago.

CLANDY -  The Tentative post-concert get together sounds good.  I can hardly wait to see Clay and to spend time with old friends and new!

Here is some WFI info going on in Merrillville the weekend of the concert that I found on another board:

Quote
Wanted to let everyone who is planning on going to the Merrillville Concert, that we will be wrapping at the Barnes & Noble right down the street from there.

Only 3 minutes away. It is East of the Theatre on 81st Ave. You go past I65 and then it is on the left hand side.
The address is 2240 E 80th Ave.

We will be there on 12/2 from 10am to 6pm so if you can, make a point of doing some of your Christmas shopping and stopping by our wrapping booth.

Hope to see a lot of fans there that day.

Marilyn ~ I'm guessing the concert will be over between 10-10:30.  I highly doubt we will see Clay afterwards but thats JMO.  He will not have his band or Q&A so it will be probably just him and his posse (Jerome, Mary, etc.).  Since he has a concert in NY the next night, I would assume he will be flying out right after the show.  I personally don't plan on sticking around outside in the cold.  cold

I am seriously considering heading to this show after Waukegan.  If anyone hears of tickets (2) people are selling - I would be a happy buyer.  Thanks.

Hubby and I will be attending the post party.

I will work on a restaurant for supper as soon as I get there.  Should we meet at around 5 pm???  I will be in touch with Meesa and Marilyn, and they will be in touch with Johanna.  I will pm the rest of you my cell #.  Please call me and let me know if you would like to join us for dinner.  I will set up the spot.

Just several hours away!!!

In case any of you read this this morning.....I have found these restaurants:

Smokey Bones (which I love)
Lone Star Steakhouse
Great Steak and Potato Co.
Chili's Grill and Bar
Bennigans
and several Chinese buffets.

I think it would be nice to eat at a nice sit down dinner place.  JMO.

We'll talk more about this later!!!

Hope to hear from you!!!
