POOP, indeed Susy!
I didn't let a biased media stop me from purchasing the music of my favorite singer.
The POOPs on them!
It's such a stinky business.
Oh indeed it is Jill!
Indeed it is!
They completely underestimate us!
We like different kinds of music, from Marilyn Manson to Clay Aiken and they should never, ever presume to know what it is we support.

Next door to you????
Actually, a little further south.
Love your post
GWENNY!
I just took a turn around the Clay Net and dang! Angst does abound. I understand it, but then again, what good does it do to be upset? [/eternal optimist]
Obessing over things that we have no control over does us no good Pammy! No good at all. We just have to sit back, deal and wait for Clay to tell us what's up! He will ya know! He loves us! How could you not!
[/quote]Or, you can just put it in your car CD player, roll down the windows, and cruise about town.
Be sure and turn it up. LOUD!!

Tis what I do Pammy! Tis what I do!!!!!

And, hear him sing. Or talk; I'm not picky.
or laugh Ms. Pammy! Or to hear him laugh. That just slays me!!!!!!

But they have to. They can't run a business without being able to predict what will sell and what won't.
The problem they seem to have with people who like Clay's music is that they don't know who we really are. It's like one researcher went to one concert and saw a group of "middle-aged housewives and grandmothers with..." what, y'all?
"blue hair!"
And there was born this weak, insulting, and, most of all,
erroneous
stereotype of who we are.

yes but who said that THEY were the ones to decide what the American public wants? Why is their opinion what's important?
Because they have the damn money and support that's why! It shouldn't be that way! We should have control peeps! We should take over the dang media!!!!!

I must make a comment about the Sawyer interviews that bring Clay and Mel Gibson at this moment in time together..Analyzed and compared...
I find this most unfortunate..for any possible similarities some of us would generously apply to them..
Mel Gibson is nothing more than a BIGOT whose alcoholism had lowered his inhibitions to the point where his true thoughts, values and character came out.. Very naked..very ugly...for the whole world to see...It's as simple as that....
He deserves a hard look...
In my world, any G-d he would believe in would sensure his words and behavior..
How does an apology cover up a view into one's tarnished soul??
Clay, on the other hand..has been put in the role of Don Quixote, spear in hand.. fighting windmills..
He is an innocent..He has been attacked by jackals.he has stood alone, mustered the courage to stand up to a monster..
He is Grace..He is Dignity..
Please don't compare the two..
