The station’s panel of judges doesn’t always get it right, he added. Several years ago, the judges passed on a young UNC Charlotte student who came before them, saying he didn’t have what it takes. That student didn’t give up, deciding to attend an official “American Idol” tryout in Atlanta.

There, the singer, Clay Aiken, impressed the judges and eventually finished second in the 2003 season. He landed a recording contract and has gone on to a successful show business career.

Good Morning Everyone!

Look for Clay to pop up on E!'s  101 Guiltiest Pleasures. He was featured in the commercials for it.
It could be for American Idol or just him, I'm not sure.
It's supposed to be on  every weeknight this week from 9 - 10 PM ( I think- better check your local listings). The way they usually do it is to show 20 each day, starting with #101.

I don't know about you guys, but reading the article of that kate carraway woman of OC weekly really burned me up.She  insulted normal americans as poor ugly and stupid because american idols will never be stars like the magnetic personalities of Jessica Simpson (yuck) and Justin Timberlake(ugh). She is obviuosly one of those ugly americans who define beauty as only sexy and with money. If  kelly Clarckson is too nice for her ,don't insult the girl. Her glow will shine long after any of Carraway's so called stars burnt.It's too bad  Miss carraway will never shine like any of  the American Idols. I don't know why I care I am not even American.
