Dear Barb,

So sorry for your loss....  I know it must have been very difficult watching  someone you love go through that it.  I know it to well watching my dad go through it, they are some of the most braviest people.....The only thing that will comfort you is knowing he will not suffer anymore....  I know there is nothing that will ease your pain but remember you have all your Clay buddies here if you need a laugh or to vent.

With my deepest sympathy
love

Filling Every Empty Space With Clay

Friends  ~

Words are so very potent.  I feel your warmth and that is very comforting.

On the day of Bill's funeral, I came home to find a Fed Ex package on my doorstep.  My daughter and I carefully opened it.   Inside was a healthy and beautiful Gardenia plant and a ceramic container to place it in.  Attached were the instructions on how to care for the plant.

When I finally got to the card, I was completely blown away.

Here is the message that was on the card:

Dearest Barbara, We share in your sadness and loss.  We hold you in sweetest friendship.  We are with you in spirit during this sad time.

With Love, Your Friends at Claymaniacs

Dear Barbara,

Just returned recently from a brief trip and read of your loss...and I wanted to extend to you my deepest sympathy.  It was about exactly a year ago today, that I had the pleasure of meeting you at the preparty before Clay's Star Plaza JBT concert.  I've not forgotten your kind, warm greeting...and the beautiful flowers you shared with each of us...(I've managed to keep mine as a dear memento from that really special evening.)  I look forward to becoming acquainted with you further...and am so glad that you are a part of the Claymaniac community.

For you Barbara:

"Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting;
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar;
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home."

Intimations of Immortality by William Wordsworth

Memories are like stars in the dark night of sorrow,
May time soften the pain until all that remains is the beauty of the memories...
and the love, always the love.

Barbara, may your faith sustain you and bring you peace in the days ahead.

Barbara, words cannot express the sorrow I feel, or to replace the loss you have incurred.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief, and that Claymaniacs will always be here when you need us.
Take care, and may God bless you.

Barb you know how I feel about you.  I am always there if you ever need an ear.  I will call again when you least expect it.  Hang in there we are all here.  It is my turn to return the favor.  You have always done things for me and been a great friend.   Huggles

Love you

Barb! Big Hug!

I did not know this thread existed until today.  It sounds just like you to keep something so private to yourself.  Everyone is different.  You needed us to give you the escape when you felt the need and we provided it for you.  I know myself, when I am feeling down I need to escape and I don't usually talk about it either.  Our love is unconditional here at the Claymaniacs; it's whatever way you need us; whenever you feel the need to talk and, also, whenever you wanted the outpour of love and condolences.   You have it!!!

You are a strong woman with lots of support.  This will all sustain you in your grieving times.  God Bless you, Barb, and  keep you safe.   Your husband is at peace and free of pain now.   Sometimes, it is much worse for the family to stand by and see their loved one suffer then it is to see them pass on.

Please feel free to call me anytime.  I miss our conversations.

I want to thank all of the Claymaniacs who reached out to me during these past two weeks.

Your words of encouragement and kindness have been so appreciated.

We really are members of a very caring Claymaniac family!

Hugs & Thanks,  Huggles

Dear Barbara,

I wish I could find the words to express my feelings, but I can't seem to find them today, so let me send you my love and thoughts and prayers.  From my heart.
