For any Pittsburgh area fans who are planning on attending the CD Release Party ...

Our original restaurant, Dingbats, suddenly closed for business yesterday. However, we were able to secure a spot at Chili's Grill and Bar, which is located in the same mall as our original choice. I've updated my original post and changed the information on the flyer. Likewise, here is the contact information for Chili's -

Chili's Grill and Bar
Waterworks Mall
Fox Chapel

ETA:  This is for the Dallas party that Prissy already posted about.

We changed the start time of the party to 7pm, so people would have time to mingle and look around before eating. Please spread the word.

Also, we are working on a project for the troops that are still overseas.  You can buy any cd for the troops at Tower (or elsewhere). (not all Clay if you want to give them some variety) There will be a box/container to put them in at Tower Records.  Ann and I both have groups that send supplies on a regular basis to the troops.  The CD's will be sent with these.  At my work, we are currently supporting 7 units with supplies and the shipping and handling is being paid for by the generosity of the company I work for.  We thought it would be a wonderful Christmas present if we were able to send the gift of music to the troops.  We've already sent about a dozen "walkman" CD players to each unit, so listening to the music shouldn't be a problem.  Whether you support the war or not, please consider putting a smile on the soldiers faces as they open these packages.

Thanks!

Dallas CD Release Party

We had a great time at the CD Release Party yesterday evening at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas.   Skip and I picked up Jo Ann and her mom, Jennie, and our friend Jill and arrived about 6:45 pm.  We found  "Flat Clay" and had our pictures made with him!!

(Clickable photos)

There were lots of neat raffle items and things to buy, too.

Jill and JoAnn were fortunate to win some prizes for games and JoAnn won a few raffle items, too.  (I won one raffle item. I think I was too busy talking to pay attention to the games and raffle items.) Laughing

Even Skip surprised me and bid on and won a silent raffle auction item.

We really enjoyed our time at the Hard Rock Cafe.  The games were fun;  the raffle items and things to buy were awesome.  We had the whole second floor just for the CD Release Party.

JoAnn, Jennie, Prissy, Jill

At 10:15 we left the Hard Rock Cafe and headed for Tower Records for the second part of the party.  At Tower Records there were more drawings for prizes.  I won a laminated copy of the Tower Records Clay CD poster and Skip and Jennie both won singles of Invisible and MOAM.  Some won the Without You  single that was sent to radio stations.

We had a great Clay cake at Tower Records.

My two favorite guys!!

Finally, it's midnight and we can buy the CD!! wheee

A successful Clay CD Release Party!!

More Clay fans

Awesome pictures, thank you Prissy!

If anyone else has pictures from their party, please feel free to post them!

Aflack has created a wonderful montage of the Raleigh party - there were over 400 people there, the food was great, the entertainment wonderful, and most of all I saw some people I hadn't seen in ages! Kudos to the organizers!

You can download it HERE!

Left click link then right click to download the montage.

Thanks to Aflack for a great montage!
