I'm going to a CD Release Party on September 18th in White Marsh, MD.

Starts at 7 at an Italian Resturant. It's a Buffet and party that costs $25. Then we leave at 10:30 to go to Best Buy and buy the CD at 12:01 in the morning and stay til 1. Also staying overnight cause it's not close to where I live. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Regarding the Raleigh cd release party,  my sister and i are going.  Went to Trianglr Town Center for the MOAM cd and had a great time.  Looks like they have  a big party planned  for this year.  I am so excited !!!!  Hope a lot of fans show up.  Look for details on the cd party release site.  I would transfer to this site if i were computer savy.  It will be at the Wake County Shrine Club,  6015 Lead Mine Road,  great food, entertainment, clack,  oh if only Clay would show up !!!!

FINALLY.... some details about the Raleigh CD Release Party!!! You heard it here first! The Raleigh CD Release Party celebrating Clay's new album, A Thousand Different Ways, will be held at the Wake County Shrine Club, 6015 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC on September 18, 2006 from 7:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. on September 19, 2006. Cost per attendee will be $20, pre-paid. We will have a bountiful buffet with a large variety of hors d'oeuvres from 7:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

We are very excited to announce our party will also include live entertainment throughout the evening, door prizes, "clack" viewing, not to mention the highly anticipated delivery of ATDW and much, much more!!! A Thousand Different Ways will be available for pre-order and pre-payment on our website! For our guests' convenience, we have also arranged for a vendor to deliver all pre-ordered CDs to the party during the evening. Actual orders will NOT be processed until after 12:01 a.m. on 9/19. All CD sales will count towards Billboard, SoundScan and other major reporting sites. Please note, if you want to receive your copies of ATDW at the party, pre-orders and pre-payment are required! Details regarding the vendor, price of the CDs and ordering information will be available QUITE SOON!

There is also a maximum capacity of 500 guests at the facility, so early registration is encouraged. A deadline to register for the event will be forthcoming, but we are anticipating a sellout. A link for registration and CD purchases will be provided later this week!

We are also in the process of reserving a block of hotel rooms at a discounted rate for our out of town guests. We are requesting that if you need overnight accommodations, please send an e-mail to admin@raleighclayfans.com. to let us know the dates and number of rooms anticipated, so that we can get the best rate possible for you.

Our Pittsburgh CD Release Party will be participating in this project which is being facilitated by easterseal (Mary Kay) at The Clayboard. She has been in contact with the Adjutant General's office and they are very enthusiastic about this initiative.
 
The CDs will be sent to Mary Kay who is to deliver them to the States Family Readiness Center. In turn, the CDs will be distributed to our military personnel all over the country, perhaps even overseas.
 
Please consider purchasing an extra CD or two for this cause or perhaps combining with other fans to buy an extra CD to send to a service man or woman.

DALLAS/FORT WORTH CD RELEASE PARTY

TEXAS WILL BE PAR-TA-ING------on September 18, 2006

at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Dallas. It is the 6th oldest Hard Rock in the world and the 4th oldest in the nation. If you have never been there, you are in for a real treat. It is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Yes, that means it opened in 1986.

We will be partying there from 8-10 pm and then on to Tower Records where we will play games and win prizes until that magic hour when we will all line up like the good Claynation soldiers we are to buy that long anticipated CD "A Thousand Different Ways". This record store is very retro and reminds you of the neighborhood record stores they used to have back in the '80's. Do you see a theme building here??
Of course they carry CDs now instead of those little cassettes.

There will be goodie bags, raffles for awesome Clay related prizes, and an exclusive Texas ATDW pin* available for purchase.

Other parties are being planned in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. So, if you're a Texan, plan on going to a party in your area of this great big state and celebrating the way only Texas can!!!!!
