CD News!! Finally!!

Clay's executive producer, Jaymes Foster, blogged at 1:27 am EST on 07/17/06.

The title of the blog is "YOUR ALBUM!"   

In the blog, she confirmed that the CD was finished, and that while it has been a long, long wait, that it will be very much worth it!

She said they are very proud of the final product, and that Clay made great choices in the songs that will be on the CD.  The choices he made will hopefully showcase the intensity and passion of Clay LIVE, that so many fans had mentioned to her that they desired.  She feels they accomplished that goal.

Jaymes Foster credits Clay with having a talent that puts him alongside great singers such as Celine, Barbara and Andrea, all amazingly talented artists she has worked with during her career.

One of her most intriguing comments was that we will hear Clay sing in ways we have never heard or dreamed of.  That statement is very interesting!  She was astounded by his musical talent, instincts and abilities.

While you will have to wait a little longer for the record label to firm up the final release date, I can tell you now that Clay and I are sure that you will love this album in "A Thousand Different Ways"!

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we have our title. 

And, according to the latest issue of Variety magazine...

But before the pre-Thanksgiving rush of tyro Idols, there will be an onslaught of releases from "AI" vets. Clay Aiken's third album is due Sept. 19, Ruben Studdard's third CD bows Sept. 26 and Fantasia's soph effort is due Oct. 17.

Thank God! Clay has finally came out with some album news! I was starting to get very impatient because I thought he wasn't ever going to release an album title and release date. When he kept blogging that it'd be out "quite soon," I thought the CD was never going to get done. He'd been saying that for almost a year now! But I can finally mark my calender for 9/19! Finally!!!
