ODD!!  (Oh Ding Dang!) New contest announced for fan club members!  Team Clay has craftily engineered a contest whereby fan club members can submit their guesses for the title of the new CD - but in acronym form! OMG! (Oh my gourd!)  eek!

According to the official site, the album title has been chosen, but they aren't telling. Here's the deal...

So, while you're waiting to find out what the name will be, Clay wants you to take your best shot and guess! We don't want you to guess the entire name, just the initial letters that make up the name -- an acronym if you will.

An acronym you say? A word formed from the initial letters of a name. You've already come up with quite a few Clay related acronyms on your own:

MOAM - Measure of a Man
JBT - Juke Box Tour
IWCY - I Will Carry You
MDYK - Mary Did You Know
DLTSGDOM - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

This time Clay wants you to guess what the acronym for his new album will be!


Here's a clue, as provided by Team Clay - TTFW:  The Title (is) Four Words! Paranoid Paranoid Paranoid

Check out the official site for all the informaiton, and the "Contests" section of the OFC (Official Fan Club!) for more details.

The contest ends on JULY 12, so get those brain cells fired up!  Hey, maybe when they announce the winner, we'll get more than just the title - maybe we'll get that release date too!  WOOT! (Woot!)

In the meantime... feel free to PS&R (Postulate, Speculate and Ruminate) here as to what that four letter acronym for the CD title could possibly be. 

Example:  "WLFC" = With Love From Clay

or

"LBBO" = Love Bites (the) Big One

....see?  It's EZ! (Easy!!)  RSG!! (Ready set GO!)

I went over and tried to enter the contest, and the link they provided took me somewhere that had nothing to do with Clay.  Did anyone else have that problem???  HELP!!!

After Clay's blog, I finally had an idea for this contest...here's what I submitted...and oops...I included what I thought the title was too, sorry Clay  !

This is what I wrote in my email:

I know that one of Clay's all time favorite songs is Steven Cutis Chapman's "When Love Takes You In" ... I adore it too!...And, per Clay's hints about it being an album of love songs...maybe...just maybe...the title of the CD is "Love Takes You In"...!!

It certainly fits to me...it's what Clay is all about...and what I have loved about him from minute/day (ha!) one...you can just sense that about him...from the eyes that twinkle...the voice that soars...his deep connection to his soul, to love...to God.
