wait-didnt clay say during his jukebox tour during his concert in raleigh at the amphitheatre or w/e that it was comming out i n july? i SWEAR he said that b/c i flipped out and fell off the treestump i was standing on (to get him to notice me lol)
so im guessin july 12 or 25th

Leigh ~ I don't think he ever specified a month during the JBT just that he was working on it and hoped it would be out sometime!  It has been delayed a couple times.  We had heard possible rumors of release dates but nothing has been officially announced yet.  We are still waiting on that.

I don't mean to be the voice of reason, but since September 19th has not been officially stated to be the release date, isn't it a little premature to be announcing the winners?  Remember when June 20th was on the RCA site?  The article in Variety lumped him in with the other Idols - many of which will undoubtably have their release dates changed at least once. 

It seems to me until it is either confirmed on the OFC or we see an official press release it may be a bit too early to confirm any winners of this contest.

As MUCH as I was hoping an O-FFicial announcement would be made today following the magazine report, it did not happen.  So.....we WILL wait til the O-fficial announcement to announce our contest winners. 

We wouldn't want anything to happen TOO soon.   Wink Laughing

Hang on to your hats, because I can't help but believe it is right around the corner!!!!!

Quite soon is here!!!!!

The CD release date is now O-fficial, and so it is time to announce our contest winners!!!!!

The CD will be released September 19.  Here are the three lucky, or should I say SMART people who predicted Sept. 19 would be the date:

BoomerAires (Pauline) from Hawaii

wvclayfan (Lindsay) from West Virginia

ILClaymate (Angela) from Illinois

Each of these lucky winners will get their choice of one of the above mentioned prizes.  After they have chosen their prize, I will report it here.
