Tonight is Queen night on AI.  I have been thinking.....what Queen song would Clay have sung?????

Would it be Bohemian Rhadsody...Another One Bites the Dust...Fat Bottomed Girls (???)...Bicycle Race...You're My Best Friend...Crazy Little Thing Called Love...We Will Rock You...We Are the Champions...Seven Seas of Rhye...Now I'm Here...

I haven't decided.  So I want to know what YOU think!!!

I think Clay can sing it ALL, of course...but what song would he have chosen??????

Can't wait to hear what YOU think!!!

I think Clay could also blow the roof off with "Who wants to live forever"

Most definitely 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love". I loved Freddie Mercury and Clay is the only one who could sing it better than him.

After thinking about it, I agree with you!!!!!!!!!!  And wouldn't that have been great????????  Thud!

On the OTHER hand, I agree with all the rest of you, because Clay can sing it all, without hesitation.  IMO, he probably would have done EVERY song better.

Thanks for your input!!!!!

I think that no matter what Queen song he did he would blow everybody away. See, here's the thing. I have watched every AI show now since AI2, and nobody. not ANYBODY, has been consistently in key and as good as Clay!! Now, I know I'm greatly biased, but you have to admit, truly, noone has the pipes. Clay may have blown lyrics ("Vincent") but wasn't ever"pitchy" or anything like that.

Clay set the bar by which I judge them all. I like Elliott, and Taylor, and others since, but nobody Q-U-I-T-E reaches it like Clay.

IMHO.

Bicycle.    Laughing

I want to ride my bicycle.  I want to ride my bike...

 Paranoid

What?

I'm not saying it would be the best one for him to sing.  I'm just saying he'd probably wear those cute little shorts that show his knobby knees and he'd giggle that giggle that makes my knees dizzy.

That'd get my vote.

And also my laugh.   ROFLMAO

We Are The Champions

I feel Clay would have every single person in the audience up o their feet!

I also think he would tell us all that we are his champions.  He is one himself, with all the obstacles he had to overcome and yet bring such joy to his fans!

Oh Lady C....you are so bad!  I love it!

I think I'm with mrs c  - You're My Best Friend - that would be perfect.  Or, there's a song called I Want To Break Free that I love the lyrics to and Clay could be all angry and throw down the mic stand at the end.

 Smile

Or, D: all of the above.

Love of My Life

... even though I don't think my heart would bear it and I would die after the first few lines.

But what a way to go...  Wink

Love and hugs,
