It's cold out there!  BRRRRRR!  I think we're all sharing the brutal cold front this weekend.  A good weekend to "cocoon", dontcha think???

Hi Red Thong Friends! 

Thea is correct!    It is one cold Saturday!   Officially (according to the local weatherman) we currently have a wind chill factor of 36 degrees below zero!  How is it in lower Michigan, Canada, and Ohio? I had to run to feed my friend's cats this morning - - - - while my friend is in Florida for a bit - and it is freezing out!

Today is ear marked to get loads of stuff done around the house.   Company coming for dinner tomorrow noon!   I do feel like cooking.   It's the "cleaning" part that I like to get out of the way.   If you smell Pine-Sol and Comet and Lemon Pledge - - -  then you'll know I'm getting it done!

Good afternoon,
Figured I better check in before ya all forget me. We just got unburied from the huge bilizzard that hit the lakeshore on Thursday. It was a record breaker - the biggest February snowstorm in 93 years! Now we're struggling under record breaking cold - temperatures hit 15 below last night and this morning the thermometer is still reading -10.  If we can believe the weathermen, this too will pass and we'll be in the 30's next week. YAHOO!  Anyway, I guess we really can't complain. This has been a very mild, snowless Wisconsin winter until now. Jilly & Mandy are buddled up and outside having a ball making snow angels. Oh, to be young again. ME? Can spring be far behind?

Been doing alot of Olympic watching. Why can't our athletes keep their mouths shut? Johnny Weir with his arrogance and cockiness blew it on the ice. It's that old adage, talk is cheap. Actions speak louder! He certainly has tons of talent, but the attitude trashes it.

The same can be said for Bode Miller. American Idol - what a juggernaut. It blew away both the Olympics and the Grammy's for viewership. WHEW

Haven't gone back to ketsup, so can't reply or respond to what's been happening in Mafia land lately. Hope everyone is good.

Been doing alittle reading on the pot stirring,  and angst based on rumour and innuendo regarding Clay's upcoming CD. It's becoming the music mystery of 2006. I guess the bottom line is that we fans need to accept that his decisions are his alone and we will find out what is on his CD as soon as it is ready for us to hear it. But saying all that, it amazes me how dramatic things get in Clay fandom.

Seems like everyone else is having a busy day, me, I am just laying around not doing a darned thing. Little reading, little TV watching, little of this, little of that and a whole lotta nothing in between. That is just the way I like it sometimes.
I don't even have to do much for dinner, I made a pot of chicken soup last night, for all the sickies in my family, so tonight we are having soup and BLT"s. Oh the life of an older lady
