Clay's Butterfly

Country isn't Country anymore so it shouldn't be too hard for him to have a crossover hit.

The problem is, Clay can sing any genre of music.....so, where do you place him?  If I was a betting woman, I'd place money on him pulling off even rap and opera!   shocking

Isn't bluegrass considered country music?

I am thinking about what a great job Clay did on BSOB.

He could so do country and have a crossover hit.

I think pop radio play for Clay will depend on how mu$h RCA supports  it.

AGREED.  RCA IS THE KEY HERE.  I THINK THEY ARE THE REASON THE CD ISN'T OUT YET.  SOMETHING IS HOLDING THINGS UP AND I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT THAT IS.  I AM HOPING THEY REALIZE THAT CLAY IS MONEY AND THEY PROMOTE THE HELL OUT OF IT LIKE THEY DID KELLY.  SOMEHOW.  MAYBE.

NOT SURE WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY BUT I SAID IT ANYWAY. Laughing

Excuse me for interrupting the topic, but is there a way to read this board so that one does not have to scroll back and forth to see who is posting.  The whole thing does not seem to fit on my screen.

DID YOU HIT THE ARROWS AT THE TOP TO "HIDE" THE SIDE BARS? THAT MIGHT HELP A LITTLE.

The way you make me feel

« Reply #1990 on: March 08, 2006, 05:25:15 PM »

Clay has always admitted he would love to sing a duet with Martina McBride or Faith Hill.  Martina has a very strong voice and sells a lot of CDs.  If they did a duet and put it on each other's CD then Clay would have exposure to country fans and may win over a lot of people.

Everyone is right--country isn't what it use to be and absolutely if Clay can sing bluegrass (and make me love it) he can convert anyone who will listen to any style of music.

Get a larger monitor??  Laughing  J/K!

So you still have to scroll even with the sidebars hidden?  Is it this thread or a different thread with pictures?  Do you have your text size set larger?  What size is your monitor?   Have I asked enough questions?

I've not heard of anyone having this problem (not even Lorrie!   lmao )

I was thinking that, too, Clandy. But I didn't want to say it.

'Thought it would be obnoxious. Wink

GOOD MORNING  ALL.

I MISSED THE COMMERCIAL WHICH, I GUESS IS A GOOD THING.  I WAS TALKING TO ERICA WHO NOTICED THE T-SHIRT BUT NOTHING ELSE.  THEN CHRISTIE CALLED AND MENTIONED IT BUT SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING OTHER THAN SHE SAW THE SHIRT.  SO ANNOYING AND NOT NECESSARY.  TRYING TO GARNER VIEWERS.  THIS IS ONE WHO WON'T BE WATCHING.  ANNOYHING.

ANYWAY, I AM TRYING TO BE MOTIVATED THIS MORNING EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT..
