Good News...an angel brings good news.

I love the pictures we have of that tall gorgeous angel with etherial wings lit up behind him. How could anyone not love this man? His voice and his heart are out there for all to see.

Good News.....

Crowd does not wait....tremendous applause....and it sounds like applause based on respect and admiration for this wonderful talent.

Ethel was invited to visit Clay on the bus after the show.  Here's what she wrote about it.

Quote
I was standing a ways down the street. All I wanted to do was wave good-by to Clay as the bus was leaving……

My friend noticed that I was not standing near the buses. She insisted that I stand near the buses with her. Mind you, this is the same friend who was about to pass out in Indy that prompted me to get on my chair and thus get busted by Clay. LOL

Once I was standing near the buses about ten minutes later Jerome comes off of the bus and right up to me and hugs me. Good Lord in heaven can THAT man hug!!!

Jerome then whispered in my ear that Clay wanted to see me. I did not run over and snatch open the door and race right in. Mind you the thought crossed my mind. LOL I got on the bus and waited until Clay said “Are you just going to stand there or are you coming in here?” Clay gave me a hug and told me he was glad to see me again. Clay seemed like he could not sit still. He kept bouncing up and down while he was talking. Clay was so gracious to ask how my son was doing. Before, I could inquire about Brett Clay started talking about something else. Clay is really concerned if people are “getting the message” of the show. He asked me if the show made me cry and I truthfully told him yes it did make me cry. Clay was pleased to hear this. Clay was also wondering why I was being quiet during the show. I could only look at him for a few seconds before I told him…”Ummm Clay this is not THAT kind of show.” LOL It seems that he wants a little more reaction from the audience. If you were at the Youngstown show and noticed that I was a bit loud, this is why. Clay was pretty chatty before he sang DSIAFCD and I hope it was because the audience was a little more involved by cheering loudly from time to time. I am glad that I was not alone in cheering when he hit the glory note during DSIAFCD. For future concert goers…show Clay some love because he thinks that we are not enjoying the show. LOL What prompted this discussion was Clay informed me that this is a particularly difficult show to perform each night.
