Clay's Maine Squeeze

« on: November 27, 2005, 11:51:58 AM »

Clay has been called everything from a "Geek" to "AI runner-up" by the media.

This year's reviews are no exception.  He is called a Pop Nerd and a Heavenly Angel.

But which catchy review title do you prefer to see in print??  Which one of these review titles calls to you and why???
Please come back and explain your choice after voting.

How would you like to see Clay, or his JNT, referred to by the media critics??

I prefer that title because it represents one of the changes Clay is making to the traditional Christmas concert and concerts in general.

Deanna...i voted for the first one just because it sounded funny. I almost voted for the last one because it reminded me of Tennessee Ernie Ford's "Bless all your pea-pickin' hearts" sign-off line on his TV show from the 1950's. The 4th choice sounded more like a good name for a magazine article about Clay instead of a 'snappy' phrase for a concert review...so i chose the first choice.

Deanna, I voted for #4 because I hope it will be a tradition and I hope he does it every year for years to come.

I chose Aiken's Joyful Noise-A New Tradition in Entertainment Unfolds, because I do hope he makes it a tradition to do a Joyful Noise Tour every year. I'm sad I missed last year's JNT, but wouldn't trade my 2 JNT 05 concerts for anything!

I voted #4 also!!  I want the tradition to continue, and because it's his "baby" people should realize it's fresh and new!!!

I voted #4 also!!  I would so love to look forward to this every year.  We all know how creative Clay is, he would have it a little different every year, while we would just be happy to just see him and a orchestra and hear his beautiful voice.  Carolyn
