Clay Aiken: Joyful Noise 2005

Clay Aiken rose to fame after his runner-up finish on Fox's American Idol in 2003. Although he didn't win the competition, he was an immediate hit with his Southern charm, sweet demeanor, and glorious voice. His debut single, "Bridge Over Troubled Water/This is the Night", made history by going number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart faster than any other single in music history; His first solo album, Measure of a Man, debuted at #1 on the "Billboard 200" and was, with over 600,000 copies sold in its first week, the fastest-selling debut for a solo artist in 10 years. Later that year "This Is The Night" won the Billboard Award for best-selling single of 2003 (Aiken also won Bilboard's Fan Choice Award that same year).

Joyful Noise 2005 is the sequel to Aiken's first holiday tour, which was a huge success, playing to sold-out theaters at every stop. The 2005 tour will feature songs from Aiken's platinum-selling "Merry Christmas with Love", the best-selling new holiday album of 2004. The song list will differ from the 2004 tour, and will include a number of songs Clay recorded for the album that didn't appear on the CD, as well as new arrangements for some traditional favorites.

Joyful Noise 2005 will feature a new element - a series of vignettes with a running storyline, written by Aiken. The vignettes will feature two main characters and supporting roles will be cast in each city with local actors.

My hubby and I actually have two computers downstairs and two tv's..  My son wants to hang out with his friends down here and watch movies and play video games..  Hubby and I will retreat to the upstairs television...

I was going to Atlanta until I saw Clay was coming to Pensacola and that is much closer - about 2 hours from me.  Its on the 18th - I can't wait.  I got 16 row seats.

That's great Lori. You see him a few days before me. I have 15th row in DC.  I  can't wait either.  Going by myself but I don't mind.
