I agree about the whole AI thing, but I don't think anyone meant it seriously anyway.  We're just having fun.  A playful What If, more than sincere suggestions.

That being said, I say he sings in my ... uhm ... kitchen ... with Tim McGraw and they can both back me up.

I don't think Clay needs anyone at this point.  He has done so much for his backup singers.  He has showcased them in every tour he has done.  Not many performers do that.  I guess we will never know the real reason behind Jacob's departure, but at this point I really don't care.  It is all about OMC.

yeah I couldn't vote. I'm still sad that Jacob is gone. I used to scream just as much (oookkk maybe not as much by a landslide) for Jacob when he'd sing and dance and play the sax and and and....(sigh).

If clay really wants another back up singer, I do think a guy would be great to have on stage with him. But if he doesn't want a guy then I'd be more than willing to be one of the gals with Quiana and Angela!!

Well, now I have been found out!    The reason I tried to do a "fun" poll is because I have no idea whom I would really choose.  I am aware that none of the above are really a Jacob-type baritone singer.

But, I don't know enough about "other" singers in the modern music world, to name them for a serious poll.

So, Ms. Marilyn, it was not your fault that I'm not funny!!

But, I do appreiciate all the responses this poll received and I thought the results were interesting and the responses fun.

I voted that Clay does not need another back-up singer, assuming that the poll is for this concert tour only. I was in KC, and although I did wonder where Jacob was, he was not missed musically at all. On another tour, such as one like the Juke Box Tour, Clay may need another singer, but not for the JNT2.

I would love to see Anthony, Judd, or Rickey again. I loved those 3 so much. Not as much as Clay of course but I do love those guys, and cryed when they all left. They are all so cute too!!And they could all really sing are are nice guys. They have all been through a rough time and they deserve something like this. It's sad to see Jacob go though. He was so funny and he walked right by me and my friend and brushed againist my friends shirt at the jukebox concert. I liked him alot but it would be nice to see one of those 3 guys on stage with Clay.

I have a hard time imagining anyone replacing Jacob.  (What a crybaby I am.) 

And I think Anthony Fedorov is good enough, especially on stage, to have his own solo career if he gets good management.  But I chose him because ...
