I would encourage anyone playing to post that fact on this thread, then I will be on the lookout for your PM.
It is okay to post comments here, just not the answers.
Here you go:
1. At which venue of the JBT did Clay sing “When a Man Loves a Woman” during the "Stump the Band!" segment?
2. At which grocery store does Clay buy his favorite peanut butter cookies?
3. Name Clay's favorite children's book.
4. Name the “musical influences” identified by Clay during his “American Idol” website interview.
5. Name the three cities, along with their dates, that were rescheduled during the JNT 2004 due to Clay’s illness.
6. Name the production company that produced Clay's Christmas special, “A Clay Aiken Christmas”.
7. Name the band in which Clay sang before he was on “American Idol”.
8. Name the story read by Clay in the “Arthur” celebrity audio book CD “Stories for Heroes” collection?
9. Name two of the three charities that benefited from the “Arthur” CD.
10. How long did it take for the tickets to be sold out for the first 2004 Raleigh State Fair concert? The second show?
11. Name the school where Clay worked as a substitute teacher in a class for autistic children.
12. Name the official sponsor of the JNT 2004.
13. Name the executive producer for Clay's next album.
14. The BAF teamed with the Cannon Memorial YMCA to open what?
15. Name the celebrity who was "surprised" by Clay at her recent baby shower.
16. Name the song Clay sang as part of a Public Service Announcement to raise money for the Tsunami victims.
17. Name two “American Idol” stars, along with the names of their songs, featured on the “Disneymania 3” CD.
18. Name the day of the week, the date, the time and the network on which "A Clay Aiken Christmas" was first aired.
19. Clay’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” duet with Heather Headley benefited which charity?
20. Name the musical artist other than Clay who sang "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" with Bing Crosby.
Bonus question:
* Name four members of the band that Clay sang with before he first appeared on “American Idol”.

I know the answers to only a few of those questions,
Deanna.
'Not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved.

As a Clay fan--you should be disappointed.
As a person with a Real Life--you should be relieved.
So the answer is---
"Both!!!"

Deanna, I'm getting ready to PM you my answers. All I can say is I, like Sundancer, didn't know the answers to most of those questions. I had to look them up. There is one in particular that gave me a lot of trouble!!
This was a great idea...thanks for coordinating it!

- I'm like Sunny. I don't know the answer to more than I thought I should.
I never knew the answers to a couple of them :spank
I will be looking forward to 'knowing' the answers at 8:00 tonight.
I don't think that I will be able to do the research to find them either. I have to do some house cleaning. I've been with my little granddaughter most of the past week. House needs some cleaning, and Happy needs some attention.

Please do not feel you have to do all the researching to play.
Just have some fun with this!!!
Send me your "best guesses" just to see how many you actually did know without searching!!!
Besides,
I
will feel better if I get alot more members playing along!!!
You wouldn't want to disappoint me, would you????????

Jayne,
Glad you and the others in Florida are getting back to normal. I was without power for a week after Fran hit NC and that was long enough. You have my sympathy and I hope you will have your power back way before Nov. 15th.
Boy, I thought I knew a fair amount about Clay but I can see I have got a lot of studying to do. Congratulations to everyone who put this list of questions together--they certainly aren't just the obvious things. I actually know only a couple, could find the answers to a couple of more but then I would have to do a lot of research. So, this time I'll wait and read the answers and try to do more research before next time.
Thanks, this gives us a lot to think about.
