Hi Michael - Losing a car is sometimes like losing an old friend.  You have my sympathy.

However, we are most thankful that we didn't lose you.

Thanks everyone,  for the warm wishes.  Basically what happened was , a SUV made a left turn in front of me where she had the RED light.  I was able to react quickly enough to veer to the right a bit but I still hit her head on.  I did suffer bruising and cuts to my left arm and my face,  but the airbags and me wearing my seatbelt saved my life.  Unfortunately the car is a total loss.  The impact was so great,  it bent the frame of my car and actually buckled the frame,  shortening the car by about an inch.  The paramedics at first feared I may of broke my neck or back,  but thankfully it was only whiplash.  I have some good LEGAL drugs to help me take the pain away.  Here are some pictures of the aftermath.  As you can see,  the right side of my car was completely sheered off.

WOW...it looks like you could have been hurt so much worse.  Are you having much pain from the whiplash?  I hope you don't have any lasting effects.

Last night my son was in an accident, and thankfully he wasn't hurt.  A car backed quickly out of a parking lot and my son hit into him.  The other guy took off, but fortunately there were police right there who saw the accident.  They caught the guy...that's the good news.  The bad news is that he apparently doesn't have any insurance, which is why he probably took off.

Take care of yourself, MIchael.

Michael
I have  been away for a few days and only now read of your accident.  Looking at
the pictures of your car is very scary.  I am so thankful you are alive and
reasonalbly well.  Take whatever time you need to get completely well and listen
to lots of Clay.  We know he has healing qualities in his voice.  Take care.  We will
be praying and waiting for your healthy return to us.

Michael,

So sorry to hear about your accident - but glad to hear that you are alright. Get well soon, rest, relax, recover!!!

Enjoy some Michael time and then get over to Saturn and pick out a great new safety machine ( sounds like

their claims of safety are true - thank goodness)

Take care
