Hey Deanna!!
I'm getting a cellcert from Lora (HavinAClayAffair)!
Clay sounds fantastic! He just finished the Opening Medley and the crowd went WILD for "Great Balls of Fire."
He seems chatty so far and there is a lot of laughing.
Lora said he definitely has stubble tonight!

I'll be back after bible study. Sorry I can't help out tonight. Philly said she'd help you all!

From the CB:
goatlady reports that Clay is SO hot.
And the cheers are seriously out of control as Clay takes the stage.
"Twisting the Night Away" -- audience screams punctuating his performance.

Cheers are beginning, so no details, unfortunately!
Band is on stage
-----
Band is on stage. Felix went to a demonstration of something today (cook something? book something?) -- I couldn't make it out. S'von is taking a dollar from the audience because no one has a quarter.

ETHEL IS THERE AND THEY SPOTTED HER HUGE PLACE...
-----
I think the caller said there is "major stubble tonight, major" - or something is "major"
There have been huge cheers. Voice sounds great!

Deanna, don't worry about it...go celebrate with Mr Maniac! Thanks for starting the thread!

Think he's saying Ohio was the birthplace of rock & roll.
That was the first rock & roll song to hit #1 on Billboard.
Talking about how much r&r has changed in the past 50 - 60 years. Just goofed up something about the number of years. Lots of laughter.
Great cheers at saying the name "Righteous Brothers". He said see if you recognize this song.
Yeah, they recognized UM!! They approve.
-----
Huge cheers at first glory-ish note.
Down low and "I need your love" - just GAHHHHHHHHHHH!
-----
Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Great ending to the song!!
Huge ovation.
-----
The crowd erupts in appreciation and recognition as Clay sings the first few notes of "Unchained Melody."
The screams are intermittent. They petered out so people could listen to Clay, but started again when he sang that first "MINE!"
Audience taking in the song now. Clay wailing on "time goes by." The crowd just went absolutely nuts when he hit that falsetto "need."
HUGE cheers at the pause after the last "to." And the screams are just enormous as "Unchained Melody" ends.
Screams as Clay sits down at the piano, and announces that he is about to embarrass himself. Introducing the Elvis medley.
