Amy, that was one of the bestest articles I have read on the Clay sites eveh!!!!

I have always loved your writing and, as usual, this was eloquent and fun.  You are the voice of reason, and I thank you.  I hope all the fans with "attitudes" read this and cool their jets.

Keep writing!

This a my second Clayless summer, so bring on the Clack!  When you go to yours, PLEASE post a review... pretty please!

Hope to see you sometime, maybe JNT 2.

Amy, that was such a beautiful essay and I want to say thank you for so eloquently putting it all into perspective. This is one breath of fresh air.

No Jukebox Tour for me this summer, sigh, but I'll be looking forward to all of the Clack!

wow

I'm....overwhelmed by all your comments. It's so interesting---this writing thing. I had been lurking around the boards and it just seemed weird---the extent of some of the PANIC! among the CLay World because we don't know where he is, what he's doing, when he's coming...(ahem)...

And I just sat down at the coffee shop and typed.

Thank you so much! And thank you, Clay, for being such an inspiration...

...in so MANY ways.

Amy. I am beyond thrilled after reading your article! This young man doesn't owe us one second of his time.

I am overjoyed that he will come back to us for two more tours this summer and winter. I have my tickets for two concerts this summer. My credit cards are all paid off so I can order all the Clay merchandise I want.

My rainy day fund is going to take another major hit or two.

Amy,

I couldn't agree with you more.  His privacy doesn't bother me.
He likes to surprise us with the best that he can give.  He is
working on that and when he is ready, we will be too, which
will be soon, thank the lord!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is using his voice in
many ways.  It isn't all about his fans, but all about his
convictions and the desire to help as many people as he
can while his celebrity status is still out there.  When he
starts the tour, he will devote more than 100% to us.  It's
all in the timing and the focus.  Yes, we will wait; he is
so worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the inspiring article Amy!! It was a wonderful read!!

While "waiting" for Clay, I have had some life changing experiences. Some positive...some not so positive. I know that in the end though...no matter what, Clay's voice will be there to comfort me or make me cry or laugh or just smile. It always does.

I look forward to "visiting" our friend Clay in 4 concert venues this summer. I know that no matter the music, I will leave both exhilarated and exhausted. I feel invested in his career at this point- and have no plans to change. I will continue to support Clay in his career and his personal endeavors of his choosing. A difference is being made in peoples lives- no matter how big or small.

That is an accomplishment he has achieved both "overnight" and by well planned out, time consuming efforts on his part.

Bring on the music and the man.....whenever. I Will Be There.

Amy,

I finally had a moment to read your article and I surely hope someone forwards it to Clay.  It articulates the sentiments of legions of his fans, I daresay.  Thank you for sharing your powerful gift for writing with us.  May I chime in and agree that it is simply a delight to see what this astonishingly wise young man will bring us next.  The anticipation delivers such a rush...especially now that I have been afforded the opportunity to partake of Clay's summer offering in Indiana!
