Evelyn - to add your Avie:

First, have your Avie on your computer. If you have not done so, right click on your Avie and save to your computer. (To "My Pictures", or wherever your computer program puts photos).

Register on the new site - then click on "Profile" at the top of the page.

At the left, you will see "Modify Profile". There will be several links beneath this to change different things about your Profile.

Click on "Forum Profile"

Check the box that says "Upload An Avatar" - hopefully, your computer will go to your photos - if it doesn't, go to where your Avie is located on your computer. Click on your Avie, and it will upload.

NOTE - a couple of days ago, I could not get my Avie to save to my computer - Michelle had to help me with this - once she emailed my Avie photo to me, I was able to get it to save. If you have any problems, I will be glad to help if I can.

EDIT - I forgot to say that when you make any change to your profile you have to check the box at the bottom of the page that says "Change Profile" - sometimes you are also asked for your password before you are allowed to make changes.

Any special instructions as to how to move them to the new site? I started saving by copying to Word, but switched to Lindsay's method of clicking on "Save As"  with the HTML.  I am having to save each of the ANN pages as a separate page  (numbering the pages 1,2,3 if there are that many pages with one date) - any way to get all of the pages with one date back to one post?

I will probably save all that I am going to save before moving anything to the new site.

Now I'm worred about Pepe, Jennie, and Betty  Huggles Huggles Huggles - I am really praying for all 3 of you - I am going to have to do all of you like I once did my children - I told them they were NOT ALLOWED to be sick  Naughty (it worked on them!!!)

Betty - I just knew Reno would call Shirl's name - she hasn't called to tell me she decided to go, probably because she knows I hate for her to travel alone!  Laughing She is one brave soul - and she has had some great Clay experiences because traveling alone does not bother her. I will be very happy to hear that Corina is home. If you start to hurt again before she gets home, please call a neighbor or an ambulance. One of my best friends here had major heart damage when she had her heart attack because she hurt all day and would not call anyone - she waited for her husband to get home from work. I know a neighbor or a friend would be gald to step in to watch the animals.

SHARON and KAREN, I am feeling some better at least not vomiting anymore.  Stomach still sore, I am pretty sure it is the morphine pills I did not take any today so we will see, I will call the doctor on Monday.   Just slept most of the day and coughed trying to get some of this congestion out of my lungs but it is n't working.  I was outside two whole times this week maybe I am not used to outside air anymore I stay in the house so much.  Thanks for asking and caring about me.   Huggles Huggles

FRANKIE, I am feeling some better.  My stomach is still sore, and I put my self on 20mg of steriods so I could breath and keep me out of the Emergency Room until Monday when I can call my doctor.  I have just about everything the hospital has to take care of myself until I can get to the doctor.  I am tired of emergency rooms.  That rain and that pot of coffee sounds so good.  I have slept most of the day while hubby and my son put in the electrical plug and a gas line for my new stove.  It is all hooked up now, took the whole day to do it.  Thank goodness my son was able to come and help his dad.

JOANN, so sorry Jennie was sick also.  It is funny you don't feel good and you take medicine to make you feel better than that makes you sicker than ever.  I really felt much better the past couple of days and started feeling sick to my stomach yesterday and was wondering about the morphine, so we will see what the doctor says next.  Has the morphine ever made Jennie sick to her stomach?

I posted this elsewhere but I will post it here.  Once you are ready to start transferring posts to the new forums,  you are more then welcome to.  ALL forums that are here are set up there verbatim (with the exception of the Adult Playground).  It looks more and more like the new forums will become permanent and not be wiped.

Thea - I've become a bit sentimental as well saving these threads. Sometimes sad when I see the members who are no longer "active" and listed as guests. I sometimes forget that this isn't just a Clay site. It's all of us too.

How true this is, Lindsay.  I have seen names I was not at all familar with and some names that I remember but they haven't been here in a while.  I really miss some of the people who are no longer here--maybe one day. . . . .

The biggest problem with getting everything copied is not to get distracted and start reading -- which is extremenly hard to do.

UPDATE - I have finished Critical Mass 3 & 4 today and, with the time frame Michael has set, it certainly should not be hard to get them all saved.

BETTY,  you are scaring me to death.  I knew I didn't like you there by yourself.   Do you have a neighbor  you can call in case of emergency, and that was probably an emergency last night.  I have no one here either, people don't even speak to you much less offer their phone number to you in case of need.  Have you just laid around today ?  What kind of symptoms do you have?  Will be glad when Corina gets home tonight and make s ure you tell her how you are feeling.
