Good Morning Everyone,
Sharon--Thanks for the coffee, needed it. Mom has been up all night hurting so bad with a fibermyalgia attack. Nothing we have in the house is helping , not even her sleeping pill. She is out of her Morphine and she's tried my pain pills I got for my foot, no luck.
To top of that, the snow stuck, not much thank goodness. This makes her body ache more. All I can do is "suggest" things that she has already tried. If she can sleep, that will help. She hasn't had any sleep more then a few minutes at a time throughout the night. I"m hoping that she can relax. I went ahead and stayed up for good at 6 this morning. We put the heat on 75o
and her electric blanket up and she is still cold. Once she has reached this level of aching , there is not much she can do. Just has to ride it out. Sleep is recommended but can't sleep.
Like Prissy said yesterday, we've had snow on the last 3 holidays this past few months. The flakes started late yesterday and picked up after dark last night. Some of our shrubs are covered this morning and the grass is lightly covered. Not on the drive or walks though. The temps are heading, hopefully, back up today or tomorrow.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY MY GREAT GRANDFATHER TOLD THE FAMILY NEVER TO PLANT UNTIL AFTER GOOD FRIDAY. WE STILL TAKE HIS SUGGESTION VERY SERIOUS. Friday, when we stopped to get fertilizer, people were stalking up on "beautiful" plants because the weather was so nice. Now, today, snow! Wonder how beautiful those poor little plants are today.
