Well, the reason why I wasn't around this weekend was because I was in New York celebrating my wedding anniversary with Mr. Philly. :wink

Let me explain, My boss calls me at home around 8 last night.  It seems that one of surburban patient that had previous surgery had an accident.  Her child step on the toe with a pin in it and broke it. :doh   She went to the E.R. earlier, xrays showed the pin did definitely snapped in two but the E.R. doc discharged her. And the patient called my doc , who would promptly put her on for today's surgery schedule. EEK! :icon_eek:

So, I'm here in the office running around like speedy gonazlez trying to get everything done before suregery time... :doh

This past week has been c-r-a-z-y!  :para

Tues. afternoon while we were at the school, my co-worker got a call that her house was on fire. (She lives about 5 minutes from the school). When she got there she found that it was actually her neighbors house that was fully involved. As she watched in horror, she noticed the fire was beginning to spread to her house. She worried about her 6 month old chichuahua. The pup was found safe. The fire fighters saved most of her house, minimal damage  to her son's room and the bathroom. She and her 13 y.o. son were not home at the time. They will be displaced for about a month.

Her son will be staying with classmates, while she stays in her camper.............until she gets adequate/temporary housing

We have received a complaint from PayPal and our website provider that our website was being used as a phishing site. Sure enough, it's blocked by numerous web entities including OpenDNS, and sure enough, our forums were compromised on Feb 13th, 2010 and used to copy PayPal's website, and ask for user information.  The hack was done by an Islamic group and all information gathered will be available to the FBI if they so desire it.  The only way this can be corrected from happening again would be to move to either a different type of forum / portal or upgrade to the latest version of each.  Unfortunately an upgrade is not available for both pieces of software.  This will result in us moving the URL of the forums to a different address and having our users / posts  and theme completely wiped and started over.  I realize this will be a huge adjustment for many and I apologize.  I have tried to do right by our moderators and our users the last 5+ years and I see no other options.  I have provided a link below for everyone to discuss this and vent any concerns frustrations many of you may have.  I have no date as of now when this will happen,  but it does need to be soon.  So PLEASE,  if you want to keep contacts or emails / pm's or posts,  now is your time to save them.

I hate to lose the archives as much as you but I can only do so much. I'm sorry.  :(  I also have XP and am on a 5 year old computer. I am able to save using the copy/paste method to word.
