I'm starting a new topic for THE BACHELORETTE.  Many of us watched THE BACHELOR as Jason let Jillian go for Molly and Melissa, so we already feel like we know Jillian.  I hope she finds her Prince Charming!!

Prissy, missed the first half of the show, so haven't gotten to know any guys yet, boy 30 men to pick from :eek sounds like we'll see some  :drama also :naughty did I hear a couple of them secretly had girlfriends :bduh

It sounds like some do have girlfriends and some are there just fro the publicity, like, perhaps, the country singer "wannabe."  No guys from Canada, but several from Texas including a very nice looking pilot from Dallas, Jake.  I read Chris Harrison's blog and he said they are not through filming the show yet, so no one knows who Jillian ends up with.  I've also read some of the messages from viewers.  One said Jillian really shouldn't pick a man who is better looking than she is. (Jake).  :lol

Jillian showed a lot of class when she gave the first impression rose to a man who when he met her was struck speechless.  All he could do was look down.  Later, he apologized for making such a bad first impression and she said to not worry about it; he made a very good second impression.  Then she gave him the first impression rose.  Very sweet!

I've watched all of the Bacholer/ette shows but usually don't follow them in the internet but I think that I will this season because I liked Jillian very much last season. I also am not spending my time reading everything about Survivor.

Well well, Jillian is certainly having a good time :lol talk about a bunch of good looking dudes :slick.  She is set to have fun this season, can you tell :lol I loved the date with Jake, he seems very nice, and kind of exciting :slick I don't like guys in speedos, so Mike being "spontaneous" was not my cup of tea :para
Also not fond of Wes the musician, he is a little too bold for me JMHO.

I'm starting to doubt there is a love match for Jillian in this group!! :shock  Maybe one of the guys we haven't got to know well yet?

I think Wes is there just to further his career as a country singer.  I don't see a spark between him and Jillian.  And at first I liked Juan, but he is so clingy and needy. He's always begging Jillian not to send him home.  And he was the guy the others voted to go home, but Jillian saved him with a rose.   I think some of the guys think he is gay.  He does come across kind of feminine!!

Jake from Dallas, the airline pilot, was my first impression pick.  I think they got along really well on their date, but for some reason, he did not seem macho enough to me last night. 

And Tanner from Texas with the foot fetish!! :eek  Why is he still there?  He kind of creeps me out.

I know!  I am being really critical of  these guys.  Hopefully, there will be a "shining star" among them.  And maybe it will be Jake??

Foot fetish Tanner creeps me out too! Mike pretty much revolted me.....exhibitionist that he is. I didn't like Wes either because I don't think that he is there for the right reason.

I really think that both David and Juan should have gone tonight, as well as Wes and foot fetish Tanner.  I think a lot of these guys just don't want to appear a loser by not getting a rose.  And I think that Wes is there to further his country singing career.  He's sure quick at getting out that guitar!!

I felt like I did not know Sasha, Brad, and Tanner F. that well.  I don't think Jillian felt a special connection with them.  It looks like next week we will find out which guys  have  current girlfriends.  :shock

I'm  sorry you fell asleep and missed the show.  It's starting to really heat up.   I just realized that David , who is such a hot head and wants to "kill" Juan, is the same Dave who was struck speechless when he got out of the limo and met Jillian.  She was sweet and gave him the first impression rose.  The impression he is making now is scary;  lots of anger management issues. :eek  David needs to go.

Still thinking Jake may be the one.

Ironic that David leaves with the guy  (Juan) he hated and wanted to "kill."  I'm glad David is gone;  just wish Wes had gone home tonight, too.  Evidently, Wes is the one who said he still has a girlfriend.  I think Ed may have one, too, but not sure???   Jake may be too perfect and too much of a good guy for Jillian.  Why do some gals want the "bad" guys?   

Juan did not seem to be a good match for Jillian;  I don't think there was a connection.  He is just like a lot of the guys;  he doesn't want to appear a loser and not get a rose.

In the previews, Jillian looks very upset.  I wonder if she finds out about Wes;  that he is there to further his career and has a girlfriend.

Poor Jillian.  I hope she finds true love.

What did you think of the talk Jillian and Jake had
tonight ? I really like Jake, but he didn't like it when
Jillian told him he was perfect. I don't blame him.
That would be hard to live up to, trying to be perfect
all the time. I hope they end up together, but I don't
think they will anymore.  I don't know what the guys
name is that told Jillian about some of them having
girlfriends. I woulldn't have told her. He should have
known no body would admit it.  Now she is going to
have that in the back of her mind and won't know who
to pick. I felt bad when she let Mike go. I always kinda
liked him. Except I do think he is kind of conceited.
And then there is David. I am really glad he's gone.
He is way to hot headed. I hope Jillian finds out about

An advertisements for ABC shows, there is a clip of Sally Field opening a door and Jillian walks through the door on Jake's arm with several men behind her with red roses.  I don't know when that was filmed, but I would say not too long ago.   When I watch my recording of All My Children, I will see if that commercial is there and freeze frame to watch it slowly! :thumb

EDIT:  I just watched the ABC Sally Field clip.  That is NOT Jake with Jillian, but some other blond guy, and the other guys are not from the show, either.  Just actors with Jillian.

One speculation I have read is that  if Jake is not chosen by Jillian, he may be the next Bachelor!

I think Jillian was really attracted to Ed.  He was good looking, the right age, and seemed like a great guy.  He said his boss was putting pressure on him.  I think if he had truly loved Jillian, he would have stayed and taken a chance with the job.  Jillian felt that way, too.

Mark just never made a big impression and Jillian said he never really said he cared about her or  really wanted to be there.  Mark himself indicated he is his own worst enemy.

I don't know why Jillian can't see that Wes is self-centered and just there for his career.  I really thought when they showed the promos of Jillian in tears that it was because Wes had decided to leave.  Too bad that didn't happen!   And have you noticed how the others have on a suit and tie for the rose ceremony and Wes looks like something the cat drug in!! :eek

Jillian will probably prefer bad boy Wes to good guy, Jake.  Jake needs to make more of an impact on Jillian.  I do think of the guys left, she is attracted to Kiptyn.  And  I'm surprised that Shannon (foot fetish guy) is still there.

I think she really liked Ed.  I agree about the ones left.  I just don't see that there is a love connection with any of them.  That would be interesting if Ed was her true connection.  Maybe Ed's boss will soften up and let Ed return.  Or maybe Ed just wanted an out???  We don't know at this point.

For the life of me I don't know what Jillian sees in

I believe you may be right;  that she doesn't make a love connection.  Now, here's how I would script it.  Ed comes back and says he made a mistake leaving.  All he can think about is Jillian and that he loves her.  Will she give him another chance?  Jillian says yes, and Ed is the one she ends up with.    I know, just my "wild" imagination!!  :bigsmile

I want to think that Wes is being kept there just because he adds more drama to the show, but I'm afraid Jillian really likes him! :shock  There's just something sleazy about him!

How could you keep the ones you did, especially Michael and Wes, and send home Jake!! :shock  Jake is so cute and so sincere!!  If only Jillian had given him one more rose and been able to see him in Dallas and meet his parents. But the previews for next week seem to indicate that Jake comes back to confront Wes.  We even heard Wes say to the camera that his agent thought it would be good exposure for him to be on this show.  And he also said that he came for his career not the girl.  I can't believe he truly has fallen for Jillian.  He just doesn't seem like the guy.

Maybe Jake will be the next Bachelor!  He is so handsome and has a great smile.

Michael just seems too immature and interested more in getting a rose and not appearing a loser.
Jesse and Reid don't seem that connected to Jillian.

I don't think Jillian knows what she wants. Her mind seems
so far away when she is talking to one of them. I don't
know if she even knows what she is looking for. She
couldn't even answer Jake. I honestly think she is going
to pick Wes if she doesn't wise up to him pretty soon.

America Got Talent starts tomorrow night. I don't
know if any of you have  ever watched it. But I think
it is the best of the Reality Shows that is on.  I even

 I forgot to say that America's Got Talent has some
 goofy acts and singers at first. But by the middle

I found myself getting annoyed with the producers for letting Wes use the show to promote his career. Wes is a real slimeball for using the show and more importantly Jillian for sure. If Jillian is truly falling for him she will be brokenhearted.

I agree that with Jake gone it seems like Kipton is the best choice for her.

Remember Melissa for a few seasons back and DWTS? She has a new job for the summer as a special reporter for GMA. Her first piece aired this morning. Good for her.

I'll watch AGT again this year but might wait a few weeks while the fools are on.

Carol, I haven't watched America's Got Talent, but will maybe give it a try, perhaps in a couple weeks once they've weeded through the early bunch, I don't even like AI til the top groups are chosen :blush

I re watched the end of Monday's show to see the promos, and it looks like one of the guys comes back!!  It could be Ed, because he was not really sent home; he chose to go.  Maybe his boss had second thoughts and gave Ed more time away from work.

Or it could be Jake because we know he comes back.  Does Jillian let him become part of the group of guys left?  :dunno  More drama!! :violin

Ed or Jake!  I would like to see one of them among the final guys.  I'm not too impressed with the group there now!


I almost  :puke  when Wes opened that barn door and there was his band!!!  I knew he would take advantage some way.  I wonder if Jillian gets to meet his family at all?  Just another way for Wes to promote his career!! :pullhair

Wow!  This was quite a show!  And I guessed right!  Ed came back!  :wheee  I think Jillian really liked Ed and I'm glad she gave him a rose.

Now, who would you believe if they told you something?  Jake or Wes?  I still can't believe Jillian believes Wes.  Jake comes back to tell Jillian about Wes only because he cares about her and doesn't want her hurt and Wes lies right to Jake's face and to Jillian.  And Jillian still gives Wes a rose!  :pullhair

I enjoyed seeing Jillian's interaction with all the families, and the guys had some really outstanding families, from what we could observe.

I think Jesse always seemed a little distant, but Michael really cared about Jillian.  I think she finally decided maybe he was too young and not on the "same page" as she.  It was kind of sad to see Michael go.

Skip watched with me and we were both really drawn into this episode!!  More drama next week!!

PS:  Jason and Molly are going to be on GMA, not sure when??  That should be interesting!

Prissy, I hope Ed really brings it on, he needs to, and I think he's shown Jillian that he really cares, as he came back.  I think all of Wes' family are delusional also, I would definately believe Jake, I really think he's just having her best interest in mind.  I can't stomach even looking at Wes :puke

married  and are still together. I just read that
2 of the couples from the Bachelor are engaged,
but I didn't recognize the names. I missed the 2nd
and 3rd, Bachelor. They had to be from those 2

You are right. Two or three weeks is a short time to

I don't know how Wes thinks he has improved his career by the way he has acted on this show.   There is no way I would ever buy his CD.  In fact, if I ever see it on display in a store, I'm going to hide it behind other CD's.

That he had the nerve to brag how he was the "first one to make it to the Final Four" with a girlfriend.  He said his "acting days were over."  I don't call it acting;  I call it LYING!!   To think Jill gave up Jake for something like Wes!!!  :bang  I'm ashamed to call Wes a Texan!!

JIllian seems cheerful in her Blog, but I agree there is more drama coming up next Monday.  I am wondering if one of the three left decides to leave!!  Very unfair since each has accepted a rose each time she offered it.

I did read some of the comments made after Jillian's Blog.  Some want her to choose Reid, others Kiptyn or Ed.  And ALL are glad that Wes is gone!!  No one plans to buy his CD.

I don't see how they could possibly edit a spoken sentence to say something else.  I think that Wes is probably unhappy with how he came across.  I believe Jake, that Wes had a girlfriend all along and that she was in cahoots with him. 

I don't think he did his career any good being on THE BACHELORETTE!  It's one thing to get publicity, but such negative publicity can't be good! 

In Jillian's Blog there are some phrases written in hot pink that you can click on and they lead you to other articles;  one where Jake answers questions about Wes.  The comments after Jake's interview are mostly favorable toward Jake and many want him for the next BACHELOR.  He said he could be interested.  Michael, the break dancer, may also be someone they are interested in.

I thought that Jillian and Reid had a great connection so I'm surprised, in a way, that she let him go.  But he never could say he was in love with her and wanted to marry her and that's what she wanted and needed to hear.  I think he really cared about Jillian but just couldn't make a commitment.

I've always liked Ed, but he seems a little too boring for Jillian.  I think that she and Reid had more fun times together than she and Ed seem to have. 

And it does look like more  :drama next week.  Does Reid come back?  Does Ed confess that he's bisexual?  Does Kiptyn say he's not ready to propose?  Tune in next Monday!!!

Prissy, I was wondering also if Reid came back!!!  Kiptyn still leaves me with doubt, and I'm finding Ed a mystery still, maybe you're onto something that he's bisexual!!!

In one of the clips for upcoming shows I thought I saw Reid in a hot tub with former Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants; so I don't know what to think.  I am looking forward to Chris Harrison's Bachelors Tell All and After the Rose shows.  Always some good drama there, too!

It's hard to tell what happens in the overnight stays.  It seems like the camera is always there, but they didn't show clips with Reid and Kiptyn, but they really concentrated on Ed and Jillian, and she did come out in a skimpy outfit!!  So, who knows what happens behind closed doors! :shock

Yup Sharon ~Jillian said it wasn't there and all they wanted
to do was  go to sleep. Then at the rose ceremony they went
off and talked and Ed convinced her everything was going
to be ok, so Jillian decided to give it another chance.  My
take on that is if you don't feel it the first time, you won't
feel it the second time either. And she let Reid go so who
is left only Kyptyn. I'm not at all sure those 2 are right
together. Thats why I think she may be going home alone.
Not saying at all that I am right, this is just how I feel. :rolleyes

I really found that Michael stood out to me tonight as a great guy.  I thought he was a bit immature on the show, but tonight what he said about learning so much about the kind of woman he wanted to fall in love with I changed my mind, and I think he still cares very much for Jillian :wink

The Men Tell All was really interesting to watch.    And even though the guys tried to make Jake look bad, the audience of mostly women loved Jake!!  David still seems to be too much into his "Man's Club" attitude, and I loved how Jillian spoke to Juan that she was so sorry what he had to go through.  She did let David kind of "have it," but accepted his apology.

I still love Jake.  He's such an upstanding guy.  I'm wondering if he may be the next Bachelor, but can't let on.

Too bad Wes didn't show up.  It would have really made for some interesting conversations!!  I wonder if the producers didn't want him to have any more publicity at their expense.

I did see Reid in that clip holding a ring.  I think that's why Reid wasn't there on the show.  They said he had a previous "engagement."  Could that be a hint??!!!

I hope it's Reid in the end!  Definitely more drama next week!! :drama

Jillian was on Jimmy Kimmell Live and I TiVo'd it.

Jimmy introduced her saying she came in third last year on THE BACHELOR and she does all her dating on TV!   Jillian said her grandma told her to go for it;  go crazy on the show.  Talking about all the kissing, Jillian said she kissed 10 on the Western (acting) date;  then she kissed legitimately 6, and with tongue, 4!  Jimmy said you can't possibly marry someone named Kiptyn, and Jillian said she used to date guys because of their names.  She once dated a guy named Ben, because she liked the name Benjamin.  Then Jimmy said that Ed can't hold his liquor. 

Jillian said she thought Ed was too serious at first because she likes to have a lot of fun;  she likes to drink a lot of beer. Then Jimmy wanted to talk about Tanner, the foot fetish guy and showed clips of him.  He couldn't understand why Jillian kept him so long.  Jillian said that it didn't bother her and if that's the worst thing about him, bring it on.  Jimmy said I guarantee that's not the worst thing! :lol

Jimmy asked her about Wes?  Jillian said everyone thought she was really stupid for keeping him so long, but she saw some red flags at the beginning but she liked all the country music stuff he talked about and she wanted everyone to see the Wes that she saw.  But as time went on, he was making them both look like fools.  Jimmy showed some clips with Wes;  then said that creep had a girlfriend the whole time.  Jillian said so they claim, but she's pretty sure he doesn't have one now.  Jillian said another thing she liked about Wes was his sayings! 

Jimmy said for Jillian to go ahead and reveal who she picks on his show so they don't have to wait until Monday.  Jillian joked that she would if he gave her a check for $5 million dollars.  Jimmy already had a check written out for $6 million dollars from Uncle Frank! :lol

Jimmy said at the end, whoever you pick, three days later dump him and pick the other guy.  Jillian joked that no way was she going to pull a Jason;  she'd wait at least two months!  :lol

Jillian was such a good guest;  laughing and cheerful all the time.  I hope she really is happy.  She looked tiny next to Jimmy and the other guest before her was a man, also kind of small.  Jimmy said he felt like a giant.  :lol

I don't think a scripted movie could have been more compelling than this finale of THE BACHELORETTE.  I was actually thinking she would pick Kiptyn.  He was finally able to say he wanted a future with Jillian and to be married.  It hurt to see him go.

Then when Reid appeared,  I thought, well, it's all over for Ed.  Reid finally said what Jillian wanted to hear, but she had already given her heart to Ed.

I really hope this is a match up that makes it.  :cross

Tomorrow evening, AFTER THE FINAL ROSE, will be on, so it will be interesting to see what is still going on with Jillian and Ed.  Or has she "pulled a Jason" and decided on Reid or Kiptyn after all.


I am guessing that, if he wants it, Kiptyn will be the next bachelor.

I got in on this very late and only watched the last four or five weeks.  I thought Jillian was going to pick Kiptyn, too.  I really liked him better than Ed.  I still think Ed may be "married" to his work and just got caught up in the competition.  Don't know.  Just a thought.

I came in from the pool to watch Maks on SUPERSTARS, and ABC is repeating THE BACHELORETTE from last night!  :bang  We've already seen that!  I guess no SUPERSTARS tonight.  If anyone heard anything about the show being moved to another night, please let me know.

At 9 (Central Time here), we should see AFTER THE FINAL ROSE.  It will be interesting to see what has happened in the weeks since the finale was filmed.  I wonder if Jill and Ed are still together, is Jill with Reid or Kiptyn,  or is Jillian alone!

Reid still seems surprised that Jillian didn't choose him once he was able to commit and propose.  I think he is still smitten!  Kiptyn is not that interesting to me, but he said he was heart broken when Jillian said she loved someone else.

There seemed to be some long pauses in the show tonight when I thought Chris should have jumped in; especially with Reid and Jillian.

Still wondering who the next BACHELOR will be.  I don't know if Reid or Kiptyn would accept it.  I think that Jake would and has said so.  Jake was on our local GOOD MORNING TEXAS show this past week, but I missed his segment;  just saw him sitting there.  And today Wes sang and was interviewrd on the same show, and I missed that, too.


WHERE WAS THE SUPERSTARS SHOW TONIGHT??  I HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD ABOUT WHY IT WAS NOT SHOWN TONIGHT, AND I THINK TONIGHT WAS TO BE THE FINALE!!

I saw the end of the segment with  Jillian and Ed on GMA and also on Regis (Anderson Cooper) and Kelly.  They both seem happy, but it seems like Jillian has to coach Ed on what to say or how to react.  :dunno   They seem like they're trying too hard to appear happy.  I hope I'm wrong and this is something that will last.
