He sounded fantastic.  I'm in heaven now.  I heard all the banter but the phone was fading in and out and I got bits and pieces but quite a lot of raucous laughter and a lot of clapping.  He sounded great.

For those who wonder why Philly is MIA :para  We talked on my way home tonight & she's not feeling very well.  Seems her cough/congestion got really bad towards the end of the concert, and she called the doc this morning.  Couldn't get an appt., but he did call in a script for antibiotics & she's gonna rest tonight.  Probably won't be on.... but sends her love to everyone!

Here's what I know about Lyrick...   Philly's box seats were much better than expected... Clay was drop dead gorgeous & in perfect pitch/voice all evening. (I can also attest to that from my cellcert.  I swear to gad, he blew the dam roof off the place with All Is Well!!!!)  Philly said he was chatty as all hell.  He mentioned he'll be airing all his "new dirt" at his concerts now :lol and from start to finish he was having a blast.  It was a night filled with laughter and the most beautiful music imaginable.  Even Mr. Philly was very impressed!!     

Gah.  I was really hoping to get some d/l's from Baltimore.  But nothing is showing up at clackunlimited since Merrillville  :cry  Where is everyone getting the Baltimore banter?

So - is everybody ready for the holdays?

We are getting our tree today!  Also, I am making an 06 Xmas playlist for the event and I got most of my shopping done on Friday. 

So in the spirit of beloved downtime I made a list of the times I have seen Clay.  I come in at a nice 15.  Sarah on the other hand, who claimed her count was no where near the 30 I said it must be, rounded out at 27.  HA! 

Ahhh, mine is only 4, but as I told Audra earlier, it's not bad for someone who has probably only been to 10 concerts in her lifetime.  Sad, but true.  We seem to get LOTS of country groups or singers here, but not much else.  And I am not so much in to country.

Hubby and kids are out shopping as we speak.  I'm at home doing laundry and housework, watching some Clack and listening to some Clay Aiken Christmas tunes.  'Tis all good.

When I was walking into the theater in Waukegan, some lady asked how many concerts of Clay's I'd been to. I asked if she meant total or this year. She said, "Oh. So you're one of those kinds of Clay fans."

I think the Clay fans are an exception - as he calls them....enthusiastic.  I'm not sure many artists have quite the devoted following.

Wish I lived closer or he lived closer, cuz I would probably be one of "those" fans as well.  It's kinda funny because most of us are very devoted...not just admirable like most fans are of other artists.  Seems he has quite the hold on us!

You're one up on me, Lifer.  I've seen him twice, and two of those were Chistmas shows.  He never brings his tours here.  But I can't really complain, many fans have never had the chance to see him live at all.

And I'm way lucky to have won a M&G!

I wonder how big the tour for ATDW will be.   :scratch

Hopefully huge - it's probably wishful thinking to expect him to come to central Canada, but hey, I am wishing.  If nothing else, I hope he hits Montana this year, because that is within driving distance to me.  I consider myself lucky to have had 4 opportunities as well.  Sadly, I am addicted and just want more...just like a drug.

NOPE.  Gah...he is one fine specimen.

Well my youngest just had a sledding accident and we think she broke her arm.  Hubby has her down at the doctor's right now.  I have 3 other kids here this afternoon, so depending on the situation, I may be dropping them off quick at their house and we may be running to the city for an x-ray. Unfortunately, our x-ray/lab is closed on weekends, so we are forced to go to the city's emergency room.  Should be good for a few hours.  My poor little one though - "it gonna feel better soon?"  I didn't have the heart to say, likely not.

OMG Carolyn.  Those kids are making ME nervous!  Poor thing!  I am so sorry!

Definitely broken.  Ray is a saint though and has taken her right in to emerge for an x-ray/cast.  He may not have some of the qualities I adore in Clay, but when it comes to the girls, he is amazing.

Back from shopping..............Adam is so hard to clothes shop for!

He is a little chunky (takes after my hubby's side), so had to find a store that sold husky sizes. We went thru four stores before we finally found a pair of dress pants that fit him! They are kind of long but one of my co-workers might be able to hem them for me! I'm hoping that he soon goes thru a growth spirt if not I'm going to have a hard time looking for clothes for him!

I crashed this week after my late night partying of last week, so in between naps I am shopping and baking.  Went over the border today to the outlet mall in Kenosha (Wisc) and got some fab gifts at the Coach outlet, Eddie Bauer, Under Armor, and got myself some shoes!  i always get the best end of the deal when doing Xmas shopping.  Can't help it, I know what I like!  That's where I heard those two Clay songs and it made my day.
