Oh - about the New Year's Eve question - Lewis and I are going to have Christmas - since the kids have been grown, we've always exchanged our presents to each other alone. We had to go to Memphis because of my Mom's illness Christmas week, and we have not had one minute alone since we got back (we "get rid" of the last grandchild tomorrow morning  :roflmao), so we have agreed to have Christmas tomorrow night and to watch the return of Dick Clark on T.V.!

Tammy - sounds good to me, too - the best New Year's Eves have always been the ones at home - We've had too much traveling around lately, and lots of company, too. I saw Ryan Seacrest on T.V. this morning talking about co-hosting tomorrow night with Dick Clark (I will be so glad to see him back!). Of course I was hanging on Ryan's every word waiting for him to say something about Clay, but of course he did not.

Pepe - last New Year's Eve Lewis was in Memphis with his Mom - she had had a stroke. I had my own private Clayfest - watched Clay DVDs all night long - a great way to see in the New Year!

My friend, Luvn, who's at the show just called me. WJ has finished his set. This is what she relayed:

WJ played, all kinds of hi-jinks! LOL!

Water on his seat, smoke all around him, while doing Grace they were playing Invisible in his earpiece, Homeward Bound came out and turned out spotlight and turned on itsy bitsy piano light on him, crew came out and closed piano keys down on him, WJ started playing Great Balls of Fire in middle of Homeward Bound and everyone was screaming their heads off. WJ did an upside down song, laid down with head under the piano and with arms crossed played Jingle Bells. Then he finally did his last song, half way through and closed him up in the big heavy curtain.

He got huge audience applause. Absolutely hysterical!!!!!

FRANKIE - THANK YOU.  I KNOW I AM A BIG GIRL BUT EVERYWHERE I LOOK RIGHT NOW HE IS LOOKING AT ME WITH THOSE PUPPY DOG EYES AND HE JUST MELTS MY HEART.  OH YES 2006 WILL BE THE BEST YEAR EVER.

:wave Hi all!  I've only read the first page because Heather just called me with a report!  The antics have already started!  :lol  Here is the run down of what happened during WJ:

• There was water on his stool when he first came out and a lady in the audience gave him a kleenex
  
• While he was playing one of the songs, they were playing Invisible in his ear.  It must have been pretty loud or a wonky version because he couldn't tell what song it was.  He had to ask Clay!
  
• They turned off all the lights while he was playing Homeward Bound and brought out just a little lamp and they closed his piano.  In retaliation, WJ decided to stop and said he would play something different instead.  So he played GBoF!
• Then he laid down on his bench with his hand crossed (like in the movie Amadeus) and played Jingle Bells!
• At the end he told Clay to watch out because his set was next and he may be singing OHN a couple octaves higher!

Ok, now to go back and get caught up!!

Oh goodness!! I can't wait for video of THAT!!  :lmao

One of these days I'm doing to see his last show.  That would be awesome.

Heather also told me that she is in row 14 near the center.  She has a great seat, about 25 yards from the stage.  Her parents are there with her and this is the first time "dad" will see Clay.  He was excited though.  She said the ornaments were sold out before the concert but they were selling Eugene, Miami and Orlando ornaments for $10.

Jayne - somebody told me (not sure I got it right) that she could Cell Stream because she was a member of a certain Board - so I have never seriously looked into it. I spend what time I have here, and look into the Fan club site and the Louisiana Clay Fans site occasionally - I just don't have time for other Boards.

Hey Frankie-yes...I'm actually a member, but you have to pay for it...the way it works depends on how many, etc.  BTW, have been meaning to address the issue you and Spikee brought up...I think the big announcement by year end...a ploy....'cause it's not happened yet and can't imagine it'd be announced during this last show if it were really BIG watch it Philly  :slick
