wow sounds like this crowd is hyped and ready to rumble.. some screaming.. wj talking.. thank you...screaming..stage a little short on space ..but so great to be here..now playing one that he wrote.. crowd quiet now..

they started about 8 minutes early tonight.. might be because of time restraints.. and getting GN in ..wj doing great job as always...can tell crowd is really enjoying it.. by their response..lots of yelling.. thank you..sound muffled a bit now.. some one yelled out.. and he said thank you..pretty rough job..talking about the time he played during a fight at the game..went on for a really long time.. had on head set..told him to play something..anything.. this was on nationl tv..and he played that childrens tune. crowd laughing..now talking about david foster..producer..and starting to play it

wonderful response from the crowd can hear them loud and clear.. now talking.. about he might fall of stage.. laughter.. I understand we have ahuge clay fan base here. and the crows go nuts..talking about picking the perfect song for the claymate. and here it is..crowd laughing..he is playing..
wow this sound is wonderful.. he is moving those finger..black and white keys must be a blur of gray...crowd into it..almost sounds like marching claymates lol...on the move...have to say wj is in fine form tonight....at least his fingers are..and the crowd so shows thier appreciation...

now talking about clay .. I want you to know what ever you want to play you can.. just want you to know I really like...I get it clay and the crowd laughs.. playing so beautifully now.. bet clay stops dead in his tracks when he plays this..his favorite..

crowd loved him....hold on claymate.. our ride is here.. Finally I can post again. I rebooted and I had a trouble posting cause it said my session time had run out and couldn't get the post to go through. I still have to go back after I type and reload though.

vignette. abour the traditions of christmas.. and the Mr.. he died a long time ago..telling tommy about how she met him and the magic of that night..as Clay glares at them.. so intensily..repeating every word and action in his mind.. the music starts to play..as he smiles and opens his lupurious lips.. she smiling...so romantic.. innocent..as he watches what is happening around him..he asked if she would like ....maybe just one....his whole voice changes in this song..the private side of clay comes out.. it just flows thru the words and the note.. and the way he releases them.. give it a channncee...as they hold each other and gracefully slide across the floor...knowing that love is blooming.. clay watches every move..every touch.. every eye contact..watching two heart joinging as one.. such beauty is once in a life time. and its bev's time.. oh itwill get you if you give it a chanceeeeeeeee..

I talked to Michael - he is on the case!  He'll get it straightened out.  He said the problem was at the server, not the board, so hopefully it won't be long since we don't have to do anything.

OK - for all newcomers - the error message some are getting when trying to post says our database is full. That isn't true per Michael, we have plenty of storage left in our database.  The problem is with our server host, and he is on hold with them now.

He'll get it cleared up very soon I hope!

Hello, Everybody  :wave I just got home from having supper with kids and grandkids and from collecting another grandaughter to spend a few days (already had the baby - now I have the 6 year old, too). On the way to the restaurant, I got a phone call from Carol, and thought I would post what she told me here, since so many of you are cell-certing. Carol is feeling better - is able to eat now - but has realized that she cannot stay alone during her chemotheraphy. She has moved back to her daughter's house, which is about 50 miles from Carol's house in Dallas. She really sounded beter than I expected. She just said that three days after a chemo treatment, she seems to crash. Carl is having all of her mail forwarded to her daughter's house, so anyone can reach her at her address or at her daughter's address (if you need either, you can send me a p.m.). I know Prissy is still having computer problems, so I was very glad to hear from Carol.

I hope that the concert is better for Clay tonight - with no one using camera flashes. I'm going to try to go back to read a couple of pages, but can't stay long.

Heather- I watched Good News from last night. I heard that he closed he eyes the whole time for it and I saw him open them a few times and I agree that his heart wasn't into it. It was so dark when he lefted I didn't see how he marched backed into the curtions. It's a shame. I'm sorry you had to be with a bad audience. Hope Friday is a better night.

Huskerfalcon was talking to someone stationed in Germany and she said that Clay gets played a lot on military radio. Hundreds of thousands of people listen to it as Europeans listen to it as well.

Audience is eating it up with a spoon.

Clay got a look on his face once like he forgot something and gave a goofy look to the audience.

Really huge jumbotrons in the balcony.

When Allison came back after Christmas Waltz after waving off Adam. Tommy was sitting in her chair and she said "Move over and let me sit my big old butt in that chair."

Clay's singing seems more casual and conversational. They like it.

IMO he never needs to go to Cary again.  If he doesn't want to play at an indoor arena like the RBC Center in the summer, there is always Alltel Pavillion that holds lots more people than Cary.

Flashers and screamers

I'd like to apologize for the rude and disrespectful screamers during the show. Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!! I just wish  they'd show their "love for Clay" by NOT screaming it but showing him the respect he deserves as a performer on the stage and being quiet during the songs. It is so rude, disrespectful and distracting for the performer.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

And yes, they did have a huge crackdown on flashers and while there weren't many during the first half...there seemed to be short bursts of free-for-all flashing during the second.

The intermission lasted much longer than 20 minutes. If it had been only 20 minutes there would have been enough time for Good News. I was very disappointed when the lights came on and the curtain came down. I love Good News. I don't know why it wasn't done, if it was because of time or flashes or just Clay being ticked off at the disrespect, either way we missed out.

The show was fantastic. I could tell that he seemed to be holding back a bit in the first half but really belted during the second. My niece loved the show, her first Clay concert. My mom and step-dad loved the show as well. My mom's second concert, my step-dad's first.

It was funny during DSIAFCD when Clay sang "oh baby that's a fact" to Quiana she jumped up and down and squealed right along with everyone else in the audience. She also got flowers during introductions.

My teen-aged niece loved William Joseph and got her picture taken with him afterwards. She says he's "hot". I'd have to agree. :slick

Well, I've got to get some sleep as I have a 9 hour drive ahead of me! The show was awesome. The singing was awesome. The MAN was awesome!!

ETA at 7:30 after only 5 hours of sleep: Although I have had my favorites of the songs he has sung in the JNT (MDYK, OHN, GN),  I think the one that has affected me most hasn't even been a favorite. "Please Celebrate Me Home" made me bawl both times I saw it. The first time was in Raleigh, the night before I was to drive "home" to Florida for the holidays. The song really got to me because I realized I did not want to go to Florida. I got emotional because the song made me wish I wanted to "go home".  And Beverly's family coming through the door at the pinnacle or high point or whatever of the song just made it worse.

The second time I saw it was in Melbourne last night...the night before I was to drive HOME to North Carolina. I got all emotional again. This time the song got to me because I couldn't wait to get HOME. I have been wanting to get back HOME to North Carolina since about noon Christmas Day. Since last November Raleigh and North Carolina have been my HOME and Florida is just a state where all my relatives live. Raleigh is where I found my freedom, my life, my happiness, myself - my sense of who I really am. So Raleigh is and always will be HOME to me. I find it enlightening the reaction I had each time to the song "Please Celebrate Me Home" and the fact that I happened to hear it each time the night before my travels.

And the JNT II story of Beverly and Tommy is so true and so fitting this year: Family isn't always the people you are related to.

Michelle I know what you mean.  It is one of my Favorites too. 

I miss talking to you.  My dear Moonshot.  Let me know how you are doing after you get some rest. 

I am sorry you missed Good News, it just runs up your spine and stays in your Brain for a long Time.  I bawled like a baby during both of these.  Nicole did too.
