Peggy - Philly got way more than I did, but I got 17 inches the first night and 7 inches the second night.  The worst part was that there was a lot of blowing and drifting.  Matt has been keeping up with the shoveling in the driveway and I'm just staying home.  Next week is supposed to be flurries all week, but  not a big snow storm. Thank goodness for that.

Mornin Snow Bunnies!

Boy, I was grouchy last night, eh?  

I wouldn't REALLY pottie in the duck's lake. But I do need a little duck fence or somethin here.

Wish I could bring all you girls who are snowed in here wit me. It's just chilly...you all wouldn't mind it though.

Granny felt a little better last night so momma came home for the night.

Guess Sunday night, ma forgot to lock her car at granny's house. So at half time during Superbowl game she told granny she was goin downstairs to lock it. She runs down, locks the car, comes back up, and granny is yellin from her bed, "Betty! Where are yoooou?"
Said ma took too long & she was worried!

So we'll see today how granny did sleepin last night without mom there. She don't like momma to be outta her sight right now.

Good morning everybody 

Sharon, Thanks for the tea  .

The kids are going back to school today, and they're not happy!      We only got 9 inches of snow.  Nothing too major. 

This afternoon, I get my hair cut and colored  .  I'm not too happy that I finally reached a point that I can no longer highlight my hair  .  Too much gray shows through.  So it's permanent hair color for me from now on  . 

I'm still trying to get the house ready for Nathan's party on Sunday.  I wish we could be a toy free house!   

Tonight Dave comes home from Florida  .

EVELYN,  you always make me feel better about myself with your posts.  I am thinking for sure no surgery .  I will take my chances that this will not happen again in my life time.  Glad to know you are staying in the house nice and warm. 

SHARON,  you are so kind and caring and thanks for being that special person you are.  You and Prissy are God's angels.  I am so sorry I could not talk last night.  I felt horrible telling you that but I do not have the oxygen to talk in the late afternoon or night time.  I use the oxygen I have to move or do what I have to do.  I am pretty good in the morning as I sleep with oxygen all night and it builds  up in my body as I am not using much to sleep.  Than afternoon it is down hill from there even though I am still using the oxygen tank.  I try not to talk to much so I can get other things done also.  That is why this thread is like a God send to me, I can have a social life with my friends with out depleting my oxygen.

  it sure is pretty out if you can stay in and look out at the glorious sun and blue sky and pure white snow.  Hubby had to go to the store and he brought me a beautiful Cyclemen plant, chocolate covered cherries from our local chocolate shop, two beautiful peaches, ( I mentioned about how I would love a fresh peach this morning with my cereal), plus my favorite a jar of Sanders Milk Chocolate hot fudge for ice cream.  A pretty nice Valentines gift I would say . 

Now for some wonderful news!!!*********  My son in Arizona is coming home for ten days to see his mama!!!!!  Last night I was thinking of him as I was supposed to be sleeping and started crying as I was thinking of him leaving already and he hasn't even got here yet.     I tried to get him to wait till spring but he said he needed to come home now.  Hopefully things will get some better this spring so he can try and start his Air Conditioning/Heating business again.  Mark is so special to me, one of the nicest kindest human beings I have ever met, and that is not because he is my son.  My dear daughter in law is more than special to me.  She is ill and will not be able to make the trip.  A good friend will be staying with her and their two West Highland terriers to keep her company and to take her to the doctors when she needs to go.  Mark will be coming next Tuesday.  It is killing me as I can not be cooking or baking for him like I always did.  It has been six long  years since we have seen Mark.  My son Donnie who lives here is going to drive to Detroit  to pick Mark up that will be almost a four hour drive one way I just hope the weather cooperates while he is here.
