Just got up from laying down for a while.  Had to go up to the hospital to get my blood work done, than of course it was time for a McDonald's visit!  Laughing  Also hubby had to run into the grocery store for a few items.  I think we are supposed to get some snow tomorrow thru Wednesday.  By the time we got home I was exhausted.  I am tired all the time and can't get warm must be I need to build myself up.  I think we will only have a can of soup and a nice sandwich or a cottage cheese/peach salad or maybe all three!! Laughing  I think hubby is to tired to fix anything and I have a hard time cooking and holding onto the walker,.

I did get some wonderful fresh asparagus today, so tomorrow I want to fix Angel Hair pasta with a nice light marinara sauce and fresh asparagus and hot rolls.   Yummmmm !!

See everyone tomorrow!

Sharon - Like it when you don't have to drive far. That way , I don't have to worry about you.

Spikee - I can't believe how fast you work a puzzle. It takes me days to do one.

I think Clay's jaw looks rounder and fuller ever since his operation. Think he looked better before.

Shirley - I know how tired you get just being out for a little while, so rest a lot when you come home.

wave  I had to stay and babysit a bit longer today.  Got to give the girls their dinner tonight.  Lylah sure does like to eat!  She doesn't want you to stop feeding her to do anything else until she's had her fill 1st .   Laughing

I stopped on the way home from Jamie's house and filled up the car with gas.  Don't know how the latest snow that is predicted is going to turn out.  Hopefully not anywhere near as much and Evelyn and Philly got.  I think I heard 6 to 10" for us.
Thought I better fill the car's gas tank up just to be safe.  I always try and fill up at the 1/2 way mark.  That way I'm never down to low where I'm afraid I'd run out if there was an emergency.  Besides, it doesn't cost near as much to fill up at 1/2 than if your tank is near empty.

Sharon - Are you supposed to get any of this snow that's coming?  so glad you only have to drive local.   Huggles

Shirley - I hope that you are in bed all cozy and warm tonight   Huggles  and that tomorrow is a better day for you.

Haven't started the last puzzle yet.
I just got done with dinner, now I just have a few chores to do before I can open this latest puzzle box.  Of course, the chores are not getting done until after the bachelor tonight.   bigsmile

Spikee - Once you have finished a puzzle , what do you do with it. I always used to think it was a shame to work a puzzle and then tear it up again. Do you frame them?

I just noticed - it Woodstocks birthday - Happy Birthday , Woodstock!!!!!!

Oh and happy birthday to Clayheart , too. I haven't heard from her in a long time.

Evelyn - I show them to Dick & Robbie then take them apart.  I have had some for over 20 years.  I will redo them at another time.  I do cheat though, I put all the edge pieces in a zip lock bag and put the rest of the pieces in another zip lock bag.  Sometime the corners of the boxes come apart and pieces can get lost.  This way I don't loose any of them and I don't have to spend any time digging out the edges.

Really glad you haven't had to much snow.  So far, we haven't either.  I understand that is about to change though.   doh

I am really disappointed that Ali had to choose between job and show.   icon_frown  I do think that she made the right choice to leave.  Not fair to everyone else otherwise, but I liked her the best I think.  (If it was meant to be, they could have made an arangement to get in touch after the show is over.)  I do hope that he does not choose Vienna I don't trust her, and think she is really spoiled.  I guess I just don't like her.

Karen, it's Bachelor night luxhello luxhello Gum Popcorn!

Weird tonight.  Spent waaaay too long on the Ali thing IMO.
From the previews, looks like she calls later.
This is just too reminiscent of the whole Ed/Jillian thing to me.  Seeming too scripted.

Good morning everybody  wave

Today the weather is okay for us.  Kids should take their boots to school because there will be snow on the ground when school is over.  2 inches on the ground tonight by 7 p.m.  The rest is coming during the night.

Good Morning!

Well it looks like us Michiganders might be in for it this time and get lots of snow.  They are calling for  6 to 8 inches  up here with 30 mph north winds.  Nasty!!!!  Glad we went to the store yesterday and got some food in the house.

SPIKEE, sure wish Don liked to cook like Dick does.  I know he cooks and you clean up, is he a neat cook????????   doh  What did he fix  you for dinner last night?

EVELYN, this would be a good time for you to be visiting Bozena in Florida!!  How is the spaghetti dinners turning out for Matt?

SHARON, hope sales are good today.  I was watching the Travel Channel last night with Samantha Brown and she was showing Vancouver where the olympics will be and my how beautiful that area is, there is a problem though they don't have any snow!!    How do you ski with no snow?????????

KIM, how are you doing this morning and grannie??????

Good morning ladies,

Well, everything is closed here - the major snow storm has begun (earlier than they predicted). It sure looks purdy! (hate that stuff). We are supposed to get up to 10 inches by tomorrow - yuck! We have been lucky with everything pretty much missing us this year, but I guess we can't be lucky every time.

I think Ali will be back (either he won't pick anyone else at all and just go get her at the end of the show) or she will be back. I was sooooo hoping and praying Vienna would go - simply cannot stand that girl. I really like Gia best. With Ali gone (if she is), it has to be Gia. Tenley is sweet but obviously she is not recovered from her first husband and ready to move on at this point - that could be a disaster down the road. If he picks Vienna I am going to seriously  Puke and he would seriously need to be committed - princess, my A__!

My doctor's office called yesterday. My surgery is scheduled for Friday, Februrary 19th, at 9:15 am. I will be going in the hospital at 8:30 am the day before (2/18) for preparation. So there you have it! Emily has her regional swim meet that day out of town - Julie is not a happy camper, but maybe the surgery will be over before they would have to leave. It is only for two days I think. I am personally po'd that I can't go.

Gotta get some work done as I got none done at all yesterday. Loooooong story - maybe some other time.

Shirley, see you posted while I was writing this - I am still congested but no pneumonia (got a chest x-ray), only inflammation. Lots of coughing fits - aggravating. No steroids though. I have a week to get over it - sure hope I do.

We're getting it down here, too, Brenda.  Ours is supposed to change to rain for awhile during the day  so sounds like we'll have a nice base of ice for the rest of the snow to fall on tomorrow.   School is out today; probably tomorrow too.

Snow plow/salt guy is outside.    They completely forgot about us last Friday!

Hope we keep our power; that's the bad thing about the rain, too, it weighs down the white pines dividing our properties, then those heavy branches pull on the power lines.  They have wanted to take our pines out for the last 15 years (they usually butcher them and call it "trimming" instead), but that would truly ruin the "country" feel of this neighborhood. icon_eek

Brenda, so glad you are finally scheduled for your surgery.  I know you'll be happy to get this all behind you.   Now we gotta get Mary scheduled so she can head to Alaska (Alaska not sounding all that great to me right now, as I'm looking out at all the snow! Laughing)

Sharon, have GOOD SALES today!! Fingers Crossed

Shirley, I'm glad you got to the store, too!  I did the same thing yesterday, preparing for the weather.  Just gotta keep our electricity for the refrigerator and freezer now! Fingers Crossed
