THE LADIES AT CV HAVE SEATING CHARTS FOR BOTH OF THE POSSIBLE VENUES.   I AM IN AWE OF THEM.     AND BRINGING THEM HERE IN CASE WE NEED THEM.

I thought someone already checked into those venues and said they were booked on 3/12.

Well, that leaves me out then!

I've been to a bunch of concerts and such, but I've never gotten front row seats, so he's never seen me.

Except for that strange stare at the Gala.

WELL, JILL AND I HAVE OUR AIR AND A ROOM.  SO, WE ARE GOING TO RALEIGH.  HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE SOMETHING TO SEE.

THOSE VENUES WERE BOTH FREE THAT NIGHT.  ONE IS BUSY THE SATURDAY.  NOT FRIDAY.

AS OF 10 MINUTES AGO, CLAY WAS STILL ONLINE AND MY FRIDGE IS FINALLY FIXED!!!!!!!!!

ER IS STILL WAITING TO SEE IF THEY GOT THE HOUSE.  THE SELLER DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND THEY HAD TO GET A REPRESENTATIVE TO EXPLAIN THE DEAL.

MAYBE IT WILL ALL BE OVER LATER.

SUNNY---HE MAY NOT RECOGNIZE YOU, BUT MOMMA SURE KNOWS YA.   

OMG, I FEEL EXHAUSTED.

                                    YEP HES STILL THERE. I BEEN CHASING HIM FROM PG 7 AND PG 8 ALL DAY, , VERY INTERESTING, DAY NOT QUITE THE SAME AS YESTERDAY.

                                I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS JUST THINK HE FORGOT TO SIGN OUT. OR NOT. I DO NOT LURK AROUND CORNERS.THE THOUGHT OF THAT CREEPS ME OUT.

I've been really "quiet" here on the board today because I think I have a touch of the flu or maybe just a bad cold.   Like GLORY, I just can't seem to get warm, so I've just been huddling under a blanket most of the day.  I have a slight fever, too.  Meanwhile, the snow has been coming down quite heavily since about midnight last night.   I'd love to be done with winter once and for all.   

I'll stop whining now!

Glory and Thea...sending you some TLC...hot soup...hot toddies...take your pick...I know which one works for me...   seriously...I hope you both feel better...Glory...can you turn the heat up?  ...I imagine your system is still recovering from last week's bout...I wish I could make you a pot of my family's chilli...hey...I'd make it for all my CM friends...I don't use beef...hamburger meat instead...it's mild for any Texans among us...but, we think it's pretty tasty.  If it were not such a long trek to Raleigh, I could say for sure I'd be going...and with this weather...chilli would be pretty appealing I'd say. Sunny girl, are you famous with Clay?...or should I say Clay's mom?  curious minds...

WELL, DAY 2 OF THE "WATCH" IS JUST ABOUT OVER. 

NOW WE WAIT HERE FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW.  I HAVE N O IDEA WHAT WE WILL DO WITH IT.  I HAVE NO IDEA WHY PEOPLE LIVE WHERE THIS IS NORMAL.  I HAVE NO IDEA HOW WE CAN GET ALL THIS SNOW WHEN WE HAVE GLOBAL WARMING. 

BUT MY FRIDGE IS FIXED AND NOW I AM PRAYING WE DON'T LOSE POWER.

IS MARLENE GOING?  HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HER IN DAYS.  I HOPE SHE STILL LOVES US.  I MISS HER POSTS.  AND WILSONBARB.

Gwenn - I have been around and I hope very much to go to whatever is going on March 12th.  I don't know why but I have had a very weird feeling ever since talk first started on this that tickets (or whatever) are going to be hard to get so I've tried not to get my hopes up too high.

I haven't been posting much lately because I sit in front of a computer all day, every day and by the time I get home I can't seem to make my fingers type on another one.        I do come here and read every night and keep up with what you ladies are up to. 

I hope the "news" we are waiting for will be more than just one event so we can make some plans on into the summer.  I think what I need right now is for Clay to put some "life" back into my life and seeing him and all of you would certainly make that happen.  All work and no play has made me a very dull person and I don't like it.

Glad you got your fridge fixed.

Johanna - I would gladly take some of your chili.  I have been cold all winter and can't seem to get warm.

                                  BARB I HOPE PEOPLE ARE NOT DISAPPOINTED ABOUT TICKETS, I HAD PLANNED ON GOING BUT HAVE NOT GONE SO FAR AS TO BOOK FLIGHTS ALTHOUGH WE DID BOOK AT THE MARRIOT. I JUST AM NOT FEELING THAT WELL TO KNOW WHAT TO DO. IF I CAN'T MAKE IT CLAY WON'T MISS ME  AND HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE A TOUR THIS SUMMER.

GOT UP EARLY TO MAKE SURE THE DOGS COULD GET OUT.  THEY DID.  WE HAVE ABOUT 8 INCHES RIGHT NOW.  THEY CLAIM THERE WILL BE A TON MORE COMING.  I AM PRAYING THAT THE NOREASTER GOES EAST INSTEAD OF NORTH.  I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS SNOW.

WONDER IF TODAY WILL BE THE DAY FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT TO FINALLY ARRIVE.  ANNOYING.

I AM GONNA BAKE BANANA BREAD TODAY.  WITH WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, CANOLA OIL, AND LESS SUGAR.  LET'S SEE IF IT IS EDIBLE.

PRAYING WE DON'T LOSE POWER IN THE AFTERNOON BLIZZARD THEY ARE EXPECTING.

We had a 3.8 earthquake early this morning.   We live about 20 miles from the epicentre.  I woke up thinking I had just heard and felt the vibrations from a large snowplow on our street (We got about 14 inches of snow since yesterday morning).  As it turns out, it was an earthquake!!!   Now I'm thinking I need to update our 72-hour emergency kit.  That's something on my to-do list that never seems to get done.

GWENN, I'm going to bake banana bread with whole wheat flour today,a s well!  I meant to do it yesterday but I didn't feel up to it.  Hope it turns out well for both of us!!

GLORY, like you, I'm "on the fence" about going to the PBS concert in March.  Right now we have so many family obligations (flying out Minneapolis on Thursday for a family wedding, need to go visit my mother and aunt across the state, family business in FL) I'm not sure I can justify squeezing in another trip, although going to Raleigh is something I would really enjoy!!! I would love to reconnect with the dear friends I have made here on the Board.  But... I just feel I need to save my energy and my $$$ for these more pressing matters.  So....most likely I'll be waiting for a tour this summer!

WILSON BARB, I truly understand why you are too tired to post at night after a day of working on a computer all day long.  I'm just amazed that you have posted what you have.  Don't feel any pressure, OK?  You are loved and thought of very highly here.   

Well, I'd better get some Valentines off in the mail and start that banana bread.  Plus I need to pack for the trip.  Need to pack a dress for the rehearsal dinner as well as for the wedding.  This could be a really "trippy" type wedding, as the "happy couple" are very interesting.  If you go to their web page, their religion is listed as "Roll Your Own"!!!    Needless to say, Phil's cousin, the mother of the groom is a little nervous about the whole thing!!!!

We're getting clobbered here in the Northeast corridor.  We're expecting a blizzard later today!  And, there's a possibility of more snow next week.  Where is spring????

   I guess you are familiar with "Shake, Rattle and Roll", eh JOHANNA!!!   And yup, the wedding should be interesting.   I have a feeling the wedding ceremony will be conducted by one of those Universalist ministers who get ordained online!!!   And I have a feeling there will be a lot of sweet-smelling stuff in the air!        Wheee!!!!!

MICKI, thanks!     And stay warm and safe inside.  'Just got a text from VA son and DIL.  They are socked in again in the D.C. area.  P is working at home.  I'm so relieved he didn't attempt to make that commute today!

Hopefully you'll be signing the papers on the sale of your house soon???
