                                   GWENN I HAVE RESERVATIONS AT THE MARRIOT IF I FEEL LIKE GOING HOPE TO MEET YOU I THINK WE MET IN 2004 DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY.

                                ITS SLEETING GONNA GET ICY AND ROADS ARE GONNA GET DICEY. I HATE WINTER,CAN'T DRIVE ON ICE, CAN'T WALK ON ICE,NOT MUCH YOU CAN DO ON ICE.

                                  I HAVE NOT MADE PLANE RESERVATIONS EITHER,MARILYN FOUND A RETURN FLIGHT LAST NIGHT FOR 39.00  NOT SURE HOW MUCH THE GOING ONE WAS. HAVE TO BE SURE WE CAN GET TICKETS.

                              SOME OF YOU WILL NOT RECONIZE ME I HAVE GAINED A BUNCH , WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME IF I AM NOT LITTLE O MIGHTY ONE.

I hope the venue for "March 12" has enough room to accommodate everyone who wants to be there, because people are making air and hotel reservations, with no talk about tickets or entry passes... or nuthin'!

Gwenn~ YES, Marlene is DEFINETLY going. For those of you also planning to come just a little weather information . Raleighs averages for March: H in the 60s L 39 Record breakers H 83 L 17. Lets hope for sunny 60s ,with no rain.
Everyone will enjoy downtown a lot more now that the barriers are down, and at night there are lights in the trees that line Fayetteville St. Very pretty.. also several new eating establishments close to Marriott & The Sheraton.

I am getting excited about the whole thing, but haven't decided whether to book a room downtown or just sleep at home.  Roger has offered to get us a chauffering service(White Horse)again if we are interested in going out to dinner around 5:00 before the "WHATEVER" If anyone is interested please let me know as I am going to try an get reservations at The Pit. This specializes in southern cooking.. but I need to know who would be interested so I can have an idea of how many would like to go. It is not far from The Marriott or Progress Energy but to far to walk. PM me if interested.

Good morning.  'Glad to see Mr. Aiken checked in with us.  I found the first blog about the hotel reservations, but can't find the second.  Any tips, please???

THEA--YOU GOING?

sigh....GWENN, at this point it's not looking promising.  Phil and I need make a quick business trip down to Gainesville, Florida in early March.   Plus all of the uncertainty of this whole March 12 "performance"???? isn't conducive to making definite plans.  But you know me, I may decide to fly down at the last minute if I can get all of my ducks in a row.  So at this point it's a TBD.

We're in the midst of another heavy snowstorm.   We'll probably get about 8 inches total.  That's really not too bad, all things considered.  'Just planning to cocoon all day today.  I may bake some banana bread today just 'cause.    Plus I need to do a lot more filing in my office today.  Somehow that ends up being at the bottom of my to-do list. 

Hope the snowstorm doesn't pick up a lot of steam before it once again hits the Mid-Atlantic states.   

I'll check in later.  Have a good one!

Okay, I just read the blog about not being able to give any more details.  The poor guy's hands are completely tied.  As mentioned earlier, you can just feel the frustration in Clay's blog.  And the hopes that this could be the big break he needs.  I'm right along with the rest of you in hoping that things will finally fall into place for Clay.  He's one talented and fine-looking "class act"!

I DID READ IT MARLENE.  I JUST LOVE HIS SENSE OF HUMOR.  I SAID BEFORE I LOVE THAT AS MUCH AS HIS VOICE.  SOMETIMES. I THINK MORE.

WELL, I AM GONNA GO AHEAD AND MAKE SOME AIR RESERVATIONS FOR JILL AND ME.  NOW I AM GETTING EXCITED.  CLAY SEEMS AWFUL EXCITED HIMSELF AND I DON'T THINK HE WOULD BE DOING ALL THIS IF HE DIDN'T THINK THOSE OF US WHO WANT TO GO WOULDN'T GET A TICKET.

Thanks Gwenn...I've been busy catching up...was gone from 8 am to 11 pm yesterday.  I'll post news...when it comes today...hope springs eternal...   You gals were such a hoot yesterday...Glory are you still on call?? 

I think Clay wants to peer at his audience and see our familiar faces out there at this special time in his career...we've been through quite an adventure together...from the best of times to quite difficult times...and kept the faith.  It's going to be such a special moment to share...isn't it wonderful!  ...a triumph of endurance...indeed!
