Well, I think it's unimaginable that there are not song writers out there who could write music for Clay that would be to his liking. New sloooow songs, perhaps.  I don't mind a cover here and there, but if "Impossible", and "Moon River" are any indication of what's to be on this new CD, I really don't know what target market Decca is going for.  I'm 58, and these are old fogey songs to me....songs to go to sleep by.  Yes, I think Clay will do a beautiful job with them, but will I want to listen to them over and over?  I don't know.  There are so many great songs from the 50's and 60's which I'm hoping he'll incorporate on this album.  I guess we just have to wait and see.  I agree, "live" Clay is best, but we need to remember, not everyone will see him live.  I love Bon Jovi, and Bono, and Michael Buble', and Christina Agulara (I know I spelled her name wrong),  but I've never seen them in concert.  They pulled me in simply by listening to their CD's.  I sure hope Clay will do that with this new CD. 

I don't think the announcement will be "here's the tickets....get em while they're hot".  He's probably going to tell us when they will go on sale.

Yep, he said the 8th, Micki. (of Feb., which I'm sure is what you were thinking)

And so did the production/distribution company that's handling his PBS concert. They posted on their Facebook page that they'd be making a "big announcement" or some such about what Clay has going on, and they said it would be made today.
