THEA, I just read your post about Chester.  I so agree with you!!  I believe when children are raised with a pet and they learn to be kind to animals that teaches them how to be a good  and kind person.

LINDSAY, always love to see you post.  Hope your mom and dad are   happy and have been wondering about you and how you are doing!!  Did your mom ever get that kitten?

I think when winter started this year I must have been transplanted to somewhere other than NC.  Gwenn, we certainly don't have what you are going through this weekend but it is cold.  Just running in and out of the grocery store was enough to make me come home and hibernate the rest of the weekend.

Marilyn, I can sympathize with you.  I have been working at home, working late at the office and all of it is about to get the best of me.  Clay better hurry up and do something before I get fed up and quit my job and have no money to go anywhere  bigsmile.  Marilyn, maybe we should have been born rich instead of so good looking.   lmao       lmao

Glory - I turn my back and you go get yourself into the hospital.  I sure am glad to see that you are home and I hope your complete recovery will be very quick.

Micki - Congratulations on selling your house.  I will keep my fingers crossed that everything goes through all right.   Huggles

wave Things are going well here. Itching to go wedding dress shopping, but other than that it's the same old, same old. Mom and Dad are snowed in and without power but great otherwise. No kitten though. sad

MORNING--

WELL, THE SUN IS SHINING.  THAT'S GOOD.  I JUST LOOKED OUTSIDE AND AM NOT SURE THAT THE MAilLPERSON CAN GET TO OUR MAILBOX SO I MAY HAVE TO SHOVEL THAT.  BUT 99% OF THE SHOVELING IS DONE.  COST A BUNDLE, BUT WHEN YOU HAVE N O CHOICE, IT IS WHAT IT IS.

SO, YES, SHARON, WE WERE SNOWED IN.  BUT THE STREETS ARE PLOWED AND WE CAN GET OUT IF WE WANT, BUT THERE IS NO POINT. 

I FINISHED MY BOOK.  THE HELP IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I EVER READ.  BASED ON REALITY AND A LITTLE SCARY BUT I BET OPRAH BUYS THIS AND MAKES A  MOVIE.

THEN LAST N IGHT WE WATCHED THE CHANGLING  I DON'T LIKE ANGELINA BUT THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING.  ANOTHER STORY BASED ON  FACTS.

TODAY IS CROSSWORD DAY.  AND MAYBE SOME COOKING?  WE WILL SEE.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind wishes regarding my house.  I remain causiously optomistic.  

I have over 2 ft. of snow outside my house.   doh  I really hope someone comes to shovel me out.     We're supposed to get more snow on Tuesday night into Wednesday.    I've had it with winter!  How many days till spring?
