Good Morning!

I dreamed about my hair all night!  pull hair   I had it grey then it had "stripes," and then I made an appointment with someone and I was going to let them dye it or put highlights in it!   hypnotic

I'm not sure if we will go to Sunday School this morning.  Don't Know

Pepe,
Skip says he has a "one track mind."  He can only work on one project at a time.  Now, it is getting the wiring in the ceiling for speakers and connecting the wires to a component and I think, the big TV in the den, too.  When that project is finished, then he will start a new one!    doh

JoAnn,
It sounds like a good time at your church last night.  Did they have a program with the dinner or award a prize for the best topsy turvy outfit?

Sharon!
Delicious breakfast!  Yes, it is football day for Frankie, and others of us, too!  Last football game for a long while!  Cry!

Former Dallas Cowboys player, Emmitt Smith was just inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.  He is the football player that won DWTS the second season, I believe it was.  Emmitt talked about how his father said that he was living his father's dream.  And even with all his wealth as a football player, Emmitt finished his college degree to please his parents!  I also remember that the newspaper was following the life of a teacher who was living and dying of cancer.  She had expressed an interest in meeting Emmitt Smith, and one day he showed up at her classroom!  He's just a really neat guy who deserves the success he has had.

Go Saints!     Go Colts!     May the better team today win!!

I hope you all have a blessed Super (Bowl) Sunday!
Wink

Sasha--cute kitten.  Would she still look like that in the three weeks you would have to wait to get her/him?

I just turned off Animal Planet.  They were going to show, "Puppies 101" and I was afraid that I might be tempted to go get another puppy to love.  Sammy would be heart broken, so I won't.

Prissy--Yes, they did have a "dress" contest last night.  It was fun.  They also had a fun "Match" game.  My table "volunteered" me to represent our group in that game.  I suck! lmao  I had to match answers with the people at my table.  We came in 3rd our of 8 tables.
There was one Youth member assigned to each table.  We has Jessica,  young girl of around 15.  She sits in the pew right in front of us each Sunday.  She served us, waited on us, etc.  She is so cute.  She broke her leg last soccer season but is recovered now.

ONLY 7 MORE DAYS UNTIL VALENTINE'S DAY!  ONLY 24 HOURS UNTIL CLAY'S MESSAGE!!!

I know that I'm driving you crazy with all my Clay Valentines, I just can't help wanting to have some fun!
Here is a personal Valentine I just composed.  It represents some of the things I love: family, life long friends, my home, pets and OF COURSE CLAY!
Happy Valentine's Day to All.

I'm home, the food is cooked, and I have even gotten execise out of the way - 2 hours until game time!

Pepe - I cooked ribs, baked beans, deviled eggs, rolls,  and Lewis has his good luck pizza ready to go into the oven. We also have assorted crackers, meat balls, a cheese ball, a cheese log, cream cheese with pepper jelly, smoked sausage, 3 other types of dip, and assorted chips. One friend is bringing hot dogs and buns, and one is bringing homemade chili. I've told others to bring whatever they want, or to just bring themselves.

I'm going to read back now to see what I missed - hope everybody is feeling O.K.  Huggles

I'm caught up!

Pepe - I answered your food question in my post just above this one - come on down!!!!

Glory -  Huggles hope the doctor visits this week are good ones.

JoAnn - I think everyone should use the anti-scalping methods used by Miley Cyrus  Clapping Clapping Amy took Laney to her concert in Lafayette, Louisiana, and the tickets were sold in a fair way! I love your "Group" valentine photo (and of course I love your main  Valentine, Jennie!) The party sounds like a lot of fun!

Sharon - I love the football emoticon - how cute!!!! We've been watching football all day, of course, and the phone has been ringing even before Lewis woke up this morning, he tells me. I hope this is a close game, too. You cooked another great breakfast!  Clapping I'm going to have to go over to the Red Thong to thank Kim - I appreciate all of you who have looked for the newspaper!  Huggles

Pepe - I know it is awful to see your sons lose businesses - but I hope that new dreams will take the place of those that have been lost. If they are young and healthy, things will work out. It's just so hard to see kids struggle, I know.

Betty - I hope you do not have lupus. My Mom was tested for that, too, when they discovered her polycythemia (her body made too much blood). I am glad that you are going in for further testing. Hope you got my p.m.!

Prissy - this week on Dr. Oz he said that we dream when we are in our deepest sleep. I think that is why I never dreamed in the past. I think I had sleep apnea. I am starting to dream again - you must sleep really well, since you can usually remember your dreams!  Clapping for Emmitt Smith - I love him - I like to see the good guys recognized.

Sasha - beautiful kitten! I hope Chole loves him or her right away. I know she will be a good big sister.

Off until after the game - I told Amy I would not call her during the game unless I was in the ER with her Father   Paranoid (We have already had our "This is just a game and they have done a great job getting this far, we should be grateful Talk"). But I do understand - after all, I thought I would not live through Clay losing American Idol 2!!!  Laughing Wink

Good Afternoon!

We did miss Sunday School and Skip has been working on cleaning out the garage!  faint    He has started another project, so that is good.  He's not as much of a one track mind person as I thought!  Clapping

I am doing laundry, still need to work on the orchestra music and write minutes for the Pond Club meeting on Thursday.

Sharon and Frankie!
I think I dreamed about my hair because I was online googling information about grey hair.  I did read that highlights might be the best way to start out!  I really wish I had called my hairdresser yesterday to see if I could get in for a trim and highlights.  I will call her first thing Monday morning and see if she can work me in that day!     I am so tempted just to go ahead and color my hair myself, but I am trying to be strong and not give in to that whim!

Frankie,
Be sure to have aspirin ready for Lewis in case the Saints lose.  We don't want him to have to go to the ER with a heart attack!  eek!   Because the Cowboys are not in the game, I am not that into whoever wins.  I like Peyton Manning and I would like to see the Saints win because New Orleans could use a boost like this.
It sounds like you have prepared a lot of food!  I wish we could all join you for this game!  We just had chili dogs for a late lunch with baked beans and Chili cheese Frito's.  I do have some chips and dips and appetizers I may fix for us during the game!!

JoAnn,
I like your collage of pictures.  What is the circular light in the middle?  Or are you looking up at the dome in the Capitol in Austin?

Sasha,
Such a cute kitten in the picture!  Let us know when you choose and we will want pictures then, too!  Kitty

I hope you all are having a great afternoon.  It is cold and cloudy here......a good day to stay in and watch the Super Bowl!

Prissy--Good eye, yes, that is the inside of the Texas State Capital.  I was looking up at the dome.  If you could enlarge it, you would see the start with Texas written around the star.

CONGRATULATIONS TO FRANKIE, LEWIS, AND ALL THE SAINTS FANS!!

That was indeed an exciting game!!   It looked like the Colts might have the upper hand, but the Saints came back with a vengeance!

I know that Lewis is a "happy camper" as are our East Texas friends who lived many years in New Orleans!!
