wave Hi Glory, welcome home! Huggles
:waveHi Thea--thanks for coming over here!

I'm just now getting on the computer.  I got up at 6 but got ready to go to the gym.  I left at 7:30 to get out there in the morning work traffic.  I had to even wait for a commuter train to go past.  Got to the gym with just about 15 extra minutes to spare.
Man, this "sub" trainer put me through a workout.  doh  I'll feel the burn for awhile.  I'll see her again tomorrow and then on Tuesday.  Maybe by then, my regular trainer will feel well enough to come back.
I asked the sub to work be and boy, did she!  We worked on triceps, biceps and abs with weights instead of the machines.  This is the first workout I've sweated at in a long time.  It hurt but I sure feel better.

Mom's dizziness medicine is working but she is real sleepy taking it.  She's still in bed at 10!  I made her a quick breakfast before I left and just letting her stay in bed as long as she wants to.  I'm sure the med is made to "relax" you.

Jayne - I forgot to say that I have been thinking about you and Kirk and your work with the Fair. I know that is a tremendous amount of work, but I also know that you love it and that it is worth all of the work. A group from here goes to St Georges Island in Florida every Spring, and they go on the weekend when that island's arts festival is held. Lewis and I only went one year - we need to go again. Have fun at your festival this weekend!

JoAnn - look back and see the link to Dr. Oz's web site (I posted it yesterday). I took the "Real Life" quiz yesterday, and signed up for email information. This morning, there were some great tips on food and exercise! One thing I learned from the quiz is that I need to do more stretching and to begin to work with weights. After your quiz is finished, you get a personalized plan to help improve your "Real Age" score.

Happy Friday everyone wave

Glory so good to see you back…I hope you feel better soon. Huggles

PEPE, how are you feeling today? Huggles

MISS BETTY, I understand what you mean about long distance travel, I only see my family back in the Philippines every four years and after I turned 40 I started to dread the trip. Twelve to sixteen hours in the airplane is just too much for my old body.

PEPE, my son will also take a CPA exam this summer, its five exams worth over one thousand dollars. I’m saving up to pay for these. I am hoping he’ll stay in California once he finishes school as I will be lost without him.

MONICA, bless you for being so kind to animals Huggles and I am sure you will find a good home for Emma.

FRANKIE AND JOANN, I lost another half-pound this week, I now weight 25 ˝…I am hoping to loss at least two pounds this month. For the past two weeks I have the craving of eating after dinner and I did, darn, I hope these cravings would stop soon.

THEA, good to see you here, Huggles I hope to see you posting more often.

HELLO to Prissy, Kelly, Jan, Michelle, Meesa, Tiffany, Sasha, Angela, Sharon, Jayne, Dudley, Miss Carol and the rest…

Frankie---Took the animal test.  I'm an owl!  Hoot!!!!!!
I'll go back now and do the real age test.

Hello Sharon and Lolita!!!!

Sharon,
You're right.  The trainer did give me a nice bigsmile workout.   I sweated so much, didn't even wear my coat home, no heat in the car and kept my shorts on instead of putting my sweat pants back on. doh  I'm going back and do again tomorrow at 11a.m.

Mom is feeling better this afternoon, so I guess the meds are working.  She has to take 3 a day until the bottle is finished.   If she feels good in the morning, it's beauty shop day and then she will need to rest because wearing going to a "Sweetheart" dinner at church tomorrow night at 6:00
The young puts it on for the "not" so youth!  The theme is "topsy turvey"  they want you to wear clothing backwards, wrong side out, etc.   I'm going to turn my leather jacket wrong side out to show the "wild" satin lining and let my Valentine socks show over the cuffs of my pants.  It will be fun.

The sun is out and "looks" so gorgeous!"   It isn't cold today either.  Sort of "spring" like. bigsmile

    Pepe,
I will send the wig catalogue tomorrow. Hope you can find something you like.

The good thing is if you don"t like the one you chose you can send it back for
a refund. It might give you a  little boost if you find one you like.

As I said, Corina leaves on Mar.12 so if I go to Raleigh I shall have to take a
taxi to the airport and a friend will pick me up when I come back on the Sunday.
Sophie will go to the Doggie Day care and board, she goes once or twice a
week for a play day so she is quite happy there.A neighbor will look after
                     Sunny the cat.

I hope you are feeling better.

I got my annual ALS  donation paperwork today. I donate in my friends name.
So far there is"nt any cure.

I tried your chocolate rice cakes and found they are quite good.

Pepe - don't know if you will be able to come back today, but I wanted to tell you that I looked outside a little while ago, and the whole front yard was full of robins! They were so pretty! Does this mean that Spring is coming or not????

lolita - congratualtions on the weight loss.    I hope your son will be able to live near you, and that he will quickly find a job in his chosen field.

Sharon - and JoAnn - I am a penguin! (Not sure if that is good or not!)  Paranoid It was fun to click on the link at the left of the page to see what celebrities are the same animal as me (Clay is not on the list).

Monica -  Clapping that Emma has a loving home now.

Betty - how fun for you to be planning to go to Raleigh! It is so good that Sophie has a good doggie day care - I wish there was one here. Our Vet is wonderful, but he has only cages for boarded animals. They are walked on leashes, then put right back in cages.  Naughty I would not do that to the boys!

I'm wondering who is in the path of the big storm - looks really awful!

Pepe - It was a beautiful sight - so unexpected to see so many birds this time of year!

Glory - glad you are better  Huggles

Florida Members! - Does anyone live in a city large enough to get the Miami newspaper? If so, and the Saints win, I would be glad to pay for someone to mail a newspaper to Lewis! I am framing the New Orleans newspaper for the office. After the Vikings win, the entire front page and the sports section front page were both all Saints. I'm hoping Diane will also send us next Monday's paper - win or lose. (Have I mentioned that his ofice is "decorated" in Saints? (Even the curtains).  Paranoid

      Frankie,
I will try to get you the Miami newspaper. Maybe Borders will carry it. I expect it will be in the paper on Monday

How lovely to see all the robins. When I lived in my house I had several berry bushes and the Robins  stopped
by every year on their way farther South and stripped the bushes completely. I loved to see them and the yard
                     was  covered with Robins.

We were lucky, no tornados but heavy rain. It was worse on the coast.

I am so looking forward to seeing Clay but don"t know whether there will be enough tickets.

           Frankie,
I forgot to say we were lucky to find the doggie day care. The dogs are not
in cages during the day they have an outside run and an inside run.

They do go in cages at bedtime and at mealtimes. Sophie loves going .

       Monica,
You are a dear to take care of the dogs and finding good homes for them.
So many poor animals are homeless breaks my heart to think of them.

            JoAnne,
I"m glad to hear your Mom is feeling better and hope she is well
enough to get her hair done.

You work so hard on your weight loss, you deserve good results.
My daughter is dieting and has lost13 pounds in the last four weeks.

I am trying to get my colesterial down so I  am cutting my fat intake.
